Chapter 25:

Hayley’s POV:

And here it is.

Every little girl’s dream. Well most little girls. My dream was to be on stage. Performing with a band as I played original songs that connected to people.

But with that being accomplished. Here is my big day;

MY WEDING DAY!

After Taylor proposed to me, it took us about a week to give back our rental home. Move our stuff back to Tennessee, and keep this huge secret from both our family and our fans.

Don’t get us wrong, we love to share everything we do, but this, this was on a whole other level of private. Plus we didn’t want to spoil the surprise we had for our family.

As soon as we arrived home, we decided to move into Taylor’s home full time since it was bigger than mine. We had room for our doggy, Bill to play in the backyard. We decided to keep my house just so that I will have a place to stay in Franklin. Keeping me close to my mother and friends back home. Taylor and I were surprisingly okay with how quick everything was happening.

Taylor and I decided to throw a dinner at his house. A sort of welcome home dinner with our closest friends and family.

But what they didn’t know was that this was secretly our “engagement announcing party.” My father and mother almost cried. Taylor’s mom did. Our whole family was so excited about our announcement. And soon came the question, “when’s the big day?”

All of them so eager to know what plan we had come up with.

And funny thing was, we had it all set up.

While moving back to Nashville, Taylor and I talked about how busy 2013 looked out to be. We were releasing an album, playing Soundwave, a spring tour, and many festivals in Europe. We knew that we were going to be so busy during the next year. SO we decided to get married before then.

He pitched a ‘winter wonderland’ theme wedding since we are both December babies. It was only right that we married around this time.

And I agreed excitingly.

SO this is where we are now.

Snow covering everything outside the window of the room I was in. All my bridesmaid’s which consists of my two sisters and Kat, running around the suite getting their belongings together. All while Brian worked on both my makeup and recently touched up orange hair.

“I really cannot believe that you two are getting married.” Brian smiled at me through the reflection of the mirror. A curled lock fell neatly in place.

“I know.” I smiled back at him. Butterflies fluttering my stomach.

“Are you nervous?” He question still working on my hair.

“No.” I shook my head lightly. “I’m more excited than anything.”

“I felt the same way.” He picked up a can of hairspray and spray lightly to keep my hair in place. “All finished.” He moved back a bit as I stood from the table and walked up to the mirror.

Red lipstick. Light pink blush. Nude colored eye shadow. And semi thick winged eyeliner. It was so simple, yet so elegant. It was just perfect.

“Thank you so much Brian.” I turned and hugged him tightly.

“You are all so very welcomed.” HE placed a gentle kiss on my head. “Now I will leave to go get ready. But I leave you with the best of wishes.”
