Chapter 5- Food Fight!

I was getting my clothed and everything in place, not that hard but i was going slower than usual. Nya has been gone for quite a while now. But i dont really mind. It gives me more time to put my clothes and stuff away. As I was putting my clothes away, I heard the ninja talking.... no Y/n, its bad to eavesdrop. But i accidentally heard that, so it won't be exactly eavesdropping. I smirked.

Everything was muffled but i did hear a couple of words.

What why were they talking about me? I am very confused. But then I heard Nya open the door of our room. Shit! I quickly put my last T- shirt in the drawer and acted like I was on the phone.

"Hey, you good getting settled in?"

"Yup. Got everything in place." I smiled at Nya.

"Okay so i have a question." Nya asked looking nervous.

"Shoot." I said.

"Okay so say that you like a guy, but you dont know if he likes you back. What do you do?" Nya asked looking down.

"Ooooooo does Nya have a crush? Who is it? Spill the beans!" I said intrigued in the conversation.

"Um his name starts with a....letter-" I interrupted Nya.

"Jay." I said bluntly.

"How did you know?"

"Well you too look at each other googily eyed, which i think is really cute, and also i can see you two together. Just saying. And also you said that his name starts with a letter, but paused a little, and Jay's name is basically a J. Soooo yeah. I pay attention to my surroundings a lot." I said.

"Wow... i can never talk about this to the guys. Like i said before, its nice having another girl around." Nya smiled.

"Ha, yeah, since i am an only child, it gets way to lonely for me, with my parents working non stop and all." I said continuing her conversation.

" Yeah... i get how that feels sometimes, Kai acts like more like a dad more than a brother sometimes." Nya chuckles.

"Haha, the overprotective brother." I said continuing the conversation.

"Well its time to eat, its Coles turn to cook....." Nya shivered.

"What so bad about his cooking?" I asked.

"Everything.... he is making chili today... may the first spinjitzu master help us all." Me and Nya both laughed and went to dinner. We got there, we were the first ones besides Cole. But i started to smell something that wasnt a least bit a peeling.

"Um Nya whats that smell?" I asked.

"Oh Coles cooking, you get used to the smell," Nya then came up to my ear. "I have a to go microwave and cup o noodles so dont worry." I chuckled. "Thanks." Before we could continue our conversation. The 4 ninja and Sensei walked in.

"Hey guys." I said. YOLO savage!

"Hey." everyone said in unison.

"How ya settling in?" Lloyd asked.

"Good," I said and then turned to sensei. "So what exactly can my powers do?" I asked.

"It can cause either miracles, if you can control them, or pure or utter destruction, if not trained." Sensei said.

"Oh.... thats swell.." I muttered.

"Hey dont worry, thats what he told us.... hehe... and i didn't handle that to well.." Jay told me.

"How'd you handle it?" I asked.

"I ran around the whole monastery until Sensei stopped with his spinjitzu, and let me tell you, It hurt... A LOT." Hey said as everyone chuckled at the memory.

"Haha, and us three were just watching from a distance, laughing our heads off, while trying to stop Lloyd from stealing candy." Kai said while making hand motions.

Everyone was laughing.

"Psst, Nya, do you still have cup o noodles?" Jay whispered to Nya.

"Come to my room and you can get some." Nya whispered.

Cole came out with a pot of what i think is chili.

"Dig in! I added a special ingredient!" Coles exclaimed.

"What would that be?" I asked, breathing through my mouth.

"Its a secret! Now dig in!" Everyone got a bowl, and filled it half way. Same with me. I tried the smallest amount. And my tongue felt like it was on fire, and then a dumpster was on it. Everyone was looking at me.

"Well what do ya think?" Cole asked. Everyone was looking me.

"Okay do you want me to sugar coat it or be completely and utterly honest with you?" I asked. Smirking a little.

"Sugar coat it." He said.

"Well i would sugar coat it but the sugar would burn right off! But i mean... if you are really really sick, and your nose cant smell and your tongue cant taste, And then you took those Merberry pills and put them on your mouth, then just maybe, i would be able to tolerate it. So i would give it a.... 5 out of 10." I smiled. "I've tried way worse, trust me on that." I said. Everyone burst into laughter.

"Haha she roasted Cole!" Jay yelled.

"Man, we got another comedian in our hands!" Kai yelled.

"My cooking isn't that bad! I mean she gave me a 5/10!" Cole yelled.

"Yes because i have tried way worse." I said.

Everyone was laughing for a good five minutes.

"Hey Cole take this!" Jay threw a bole of chili at Cole.

"Hey!" Cole threw a bowl at Jay but he ducked at the nick if time. And then it hit me!

"OW heck no!" I yelled! I know not to curse in front of sensei, thats common sense. I threw a bole of chili at Cole but it hit Kai instead.

"Haha I'm getting you back Y/n!" He threw the the bow at me but then it hit Nya. then nya threw the bowl at sensei and he threw the bowl at Zane. We got into a big food fight. I Only got my t shirt dirty. But everyone was dirty top to bottom! Well not Sensei, of course. But where is sensei by the way. And before i knew it, i felt chili in my hair! I turned around and saw Sensei with an empty bowl.

"There, now all of you are brothers and sisters." He said and walked away, probably getting in the shower.

All of us were laughing, but i am pretty happy that i have "Brothers and sisters." It will be nice to live with people my age. This is going to be a fun experience.
