Zoe's POV

It was too late when that old rat compromised me. There is no way the ninja will override the spell I put on them until they realize the mistake they made. But even if they do, they won't be mad at me...

because my spell makes sure the victim doesn't know the witch who put them in that state.

I walked back into the home I grew up in, pure and utter darkness...

Just how I like it.

I was going to the throne room to see how the Purple ninja was, we are trying as of now to make sure her true potential doesn't rise when she's down here or this plan will backfire.

We figured out what it is, it's dependency. SHe depends so much on her friends and family that she never felt truly alone before.

And these five weeks have been a hell for her, with no one to save her, she's alone, and she finally accepted it.

And I love seeing the enemy in pain.

We don't know how to make sure she doesn't reach her full potential, but the past couple of days, she's been denying all the drugs we give her, and her power rate is going down. Showing that her rate of reaching her true potential is getting lower.

"H-how is that possible? Thre is no one here!" I asked, not that I'm complaining because that means we have more time.

"My daughter, that is the same question I am asking myself. How is she feeling more dependent if there is not one soul here to cure her?" He raised his eyebrows with his cloak off. This was a private session. He wasn't that scary of a guy when you get to know him but still scary.

"No problem then, this just means we have more time." He said, not aware of the situation before him.

"But father, if she is feeling this, she is having hope, and if she is having hope, then we must have a mole or someone giving a secret message to make sure she's okay," I said, putting the pieces to the puzzle.

"Don't speak nonsense child! This fortress is guarded by the top spy's and henchman I am seen. And if there is a mole, I will cut their throats my self." He gritted his teeth and slammed the door shut.

Darkness

Pain

Suffering

I try to look through Y/n's eyes, but its no use. I feel what she feels, see what she sees.

All I see is blurred darkness.

And all I feel is a pain in the body.

I grunted in pain and left the spirit smoke. The Ninja were clean slates. They remember Y/n, but we can't find her, but they don't remember Zoell's spell, but remember her kindness.

They want her back.

And I don't know what do I'm going to do.

"Ninja! Come to the dojo!" I was still irritated with them, but what could I do? Nothing to get them out of this.

They have to figure that out themselves.

"Yes, Sensei?" They said in sync

"Have we found the location of Y/n?" I asked sternly.

"No Sensei, but we found where her tracker gotten lost at," Nya said back.

"Don't you all know where the secret hideout is?" I said a bit louder.

"Yes but-" I interrupted the water ninja.

"Buts are for sitting! Our team member got kidnapped on your watch!" I smacked my bo staff on the ground, infuriated. "We must go there now!" I yelled, but Lloyd got in front of me.

"Uh sensei, we want to go, there's a lot of security though, we won't be able to get through without wearing ourselves out! We need another team member. What about Zoe? She can help us." Lloyd said trying to figure out a plan, but I shook my head.

"Nephew! She is part of the enemy!"

"No, she isn't! You kicked her out because her training was done!" There was a lot of tension in the air. We never fought like this before. Everyone is stressed out in trying to find the prophecy.

"Look, if everyone would just calm down, we can try and fix this together okay?! We all just really want Y/n back, but we need to stay CAAALLLLLMMMM!" Jay said raising his arms up into the air.

"Jay shut up!" Lloyd yelled as the lightning ninja looked at him in disbelief. Not once has he yelled that loud at the lightheaded funny guy.

"Do you ninja know what to that poor girl? She was only in high school. You fail to notice what was right under your noses! She was getting tortured by Zoell! She has you in her trap! Do you not see? She was the villain we least expected. We failed to notice it! I failed to notice it..." I got quieter, realizing my own mistake in this feud. If I had paid more close attention to her, then maybe... just maybe...

I would have prevented this problem that is driving us apart...
