Chapter 28- They're Back

Y/n's POV

"H-how did they find me? I-i thought they didn't look for me... what's changed... I don't want to go back Will," Tears were brimming my eyes as I said that. Will munched one more bite of his cheesy slice of goodness before tossing it and my cheese sticks onto my lap.

Before anyone could process what was happening, Will got up and wheeled me in the back of the store.

I must have not noticed but my teardrops were bigger than usual, I think Will saw that so he's taking me backstop.

"Hey, hey Y/n, it's okay. I won't let you go back there okay? But maybe they are looking for you because they came to their senses. You said Zoe put you under some spell right? So maybe they aren't under that spell anymore. We got to look at the factors." Will continued but then I remembered something he said.

"A girl I don't know..."

I girl is in there too, it couldn't have been Nya because everyone knows she's a ninja...

"W-will? How many girls are out there this instant?" I asked. I saw his head peak out the door to see the ninja chatting and goofing off. I could hear them from here.

"Uh, two... why?" He asked and my breath hitched even more.

"The other girl... that's the girl who cast a spell on me... she kidnapped me... not Nya but, the other one, her name is... Zoell." I choked. Bad memories started to resurface as I backed away from the door, the workers looked suspicious but they didn't say anything.

"Look... we can go back to my house and-"

"Please, I don't want to be here... I don't want them to find we Will just..." I l=closed my eyes tightly as my hands on my wheelchair tightened, causing a slow, graceful frost to slide over the handles.

"Hey... hey, Y/n, it's going to be okay. We can go through the back door alright. Just breathe with me... try not to go all Jack Frost on me yeah?" I tried to smile but I had more fear than laughter in my soul at the moment. 

The only thing I could do was muster up a nod as Will swiftly but smoothly moved my chair to the back of the room and out of the door.

"Just a couple more minutes and we can go back home, yeah? Just a couple more minutes Y/n." Will sounded like a mother to me and I let go of the handle and put my hand over his as he pushed me. I could mentally hear the small smaile that formed on his lips.

They all sat down to eat something that Kai requested, Nya and Kai went to eat here ever since they lived in Jamanikai.

"Wait, so Y/n is here? Like here?" Jay said looking around the fast food place.

"No dummy!" Cole hits Jay across the head, "Her best friend lives in this village, but we're just grabbing something to eat." Cole rubbed his stomach with delight as he saw the sight of cake glaze through his eyes.

"Also, we can't just be eating and having fun guys, if Y/n is here, we need to make sure to get her back on the bounty so we can..." Lloyd's voice traveled off as his head was thinking of what to say. When they would get the traumatized ninja back, what were they going to do? The team betrayed you... they left you... they treated you with the utmost disrespect at such a young age, and let you get captured.

So what were they going to do if they found you?

"Guys... I think we should head back... to the bounty. There are no states of any other elements other than ours roaming my sensors. If Y/n really were here, then the elements of Nature and Weather should have an aura powerful enough for me to scan..." Zane sounded uncertain, and everyone caught it except for Zoell, however, they let it pass.

Because Zane knew everything.

Was he under the control of the demon's daughter Zoell? Yes. However, the only reason why everyone was "clean slates" was because of the after affects of the dark magic Zoell used on the other five. Zane? He had a virus-like robot scurry into his system which immediately left after Zoell let him free for some odd reason.

So the "after effects" the other ninja were experiencing wasn't happening to Zane. He knew full and well he had been tricked by Zoell, and he needed the ninja back on his side.

He needed Sensei Wu.

And he needed to apologize to Y/n.

Because a plan is forming in the ninjroid's brain...

 and maybe, just maybe...

Zane can pull it off before the evil mastermind that is right under his metal like nose finds out and ends them once and for all...
