Jimin.
Park Jimin.
Loved by all, friend to none.
You see, everyone would try so desperately to talk, hang out and most likely fuck with him. It usually ended with them trying to use him for his money or his popularity so he would push them all away. Only two people have stuck around the longest, both of them equally attractive but in different ways.
For Hoseok, he had this natural ability to make anyone smile with a simple phrase. His heart smile accompanying that and you were certainly under his charms. Hoseok had all the fellow classmates jealous of his dancer physique and the sharp facial features he was gifted with. Him and Jimin met at a party years ago, woke up in each other's arms the next morning and never spoke about it again.
Taehyung had no problem with making friends either regardless of the little problem he developed when he was young. Unfortunately, he was mute. Or a selective mute that would only talk in the randomest of times and even then, he barely spoke above a whisper. He just had good looks and a natural air of confidence that had others drawn to him. He was that person that you just can't describe, that person that everyone wants to know. Taehyung was friends with Hoseok first and joined them at their table one day, eating in silence (of course).
But Jimin.
Jimin, Jimin, Jimin.
He had a complicated situation. Almost no one met with him after school unless it was Hoseok, Tae or both. He was the mysterious beauty that people were dying to be or be with. He also had a dancer's physique, going to the dance studio with Hobi whenever he could. His stature was poised as a dancer's should be, calm and collected in front of his colleagues but underneath... No one knew. At school he kept a monotonous tone, empty of life, his flawless face a blank sheet. He went there to focus on his grades, which he was exceptional in, and to meet the only 2 people that have put up with him throughout high school. At times he would incite trouble with them, never getting caught.
Hoseok had a theory on that. He used to think that Jimin just had no feelings whatsoever and he did these dangerous acts to see if he could feel excitement. But his view changed when he accidentally saw Jimin afterschool in a shop. He saw him talk, smile and even laugh with a lady that he's never seen before. What is he laughing about? Hoseok contemplated. What does she have that we don't? He kept it a secret from Jimin though. He didn't want to be pushed away like the others. He truely liked Jimin and it wasn't romantic at all. He wishes that they were closer and could talk like old friends but they don't. He couldn't admit that he was jealous of the lady when he saw that but instead focused on the rare sighting before him. He focused on the light laughter through the open door of the store that he had never heard of until now. His new theory is that his acting out is a cry for help. He believes that Jimin wants to be open, wants to have someone care for him enough to stop him from continuing. So from then on, he vowed to stop Jimin from his perilous acts and hopefully get a little bit closer to the enigma that is Park Jimin. Unfortunately, that moment came closer than he thought it would.

Whenever there's a new student at school, people automatically get excited and want to find out everything they can about that person. At least, that's what Jimin kept repeating to himself everytime he heard someone talk about the 'handsome' new-blood. I doubt he's that good looking. He's not better than me, that's a fact.
Although Jimin is constantly praised from afar, he has insecurities, doubts that cloud his thoughts like a plague. He always wants to be the best version of himself that he can be, putting more pressure on himself than anyone else ever could. He worked hard for his grades, his body, his money. Which is why it bothered him so much that someone else had to just appear out of thin air and get all the attention that Jimin rightfully deserved. Who was he?
It turns out that he would meet him sooner than he thought, in the last class of the day. "Everyone please be quiet and turn your attention to your new classmate, Jeon Jungkook. His first day is today so be nice and show him around." Jeon Jungkook. He hesitated to wave, head facing the ground. "Tell us a little bit about yourself before you take your seat."
He nods, looking up at everyone. "H-Hi, I um- I'm Jungkoo-ah well you know that... I used to live in Busan before I came here... I didn't really get out much." Most of the girls cooed at his shyness, almost running up and giving him a hug. Who the hell does he think he is?
"Excellent! Now have a seat wherever you like-"
"With me!"
"No me!"
"I said it first!"
"But I'm not ugly!"
"Girls!" The teacher grew red, pointing at the board. "Write your names down and I will see you after class." They do so, leaving Jungkook to stand there awkwardly. "Jeon you may sit in the back for now until I find your permanent seat." Again with the curt nod before he walks down the aisles, past me and sits down next to the window. Some girls giggle when he sits next to them, Jungkook's cheeks redden in response.
He's going to regret coming here.

It wasn't until after school where Jungkook and Jimin would cross paths again. Jungkook had the audacity to walk down the same alleyway home where Jimin and his friends smoke. "Hey! Pretty boy." The tone itself stopped the younger in his tracks. "I have a question for you.~" Hoseok and Taehyung looked up, confused at the interaction. Since when did Jimin talk to anyone but them? Jungkook was equally perplexed as he approached the elder, tentative in his movements. When he was close enough, Jimin grabbed him by the collar and shoved him against the wall. "Who do you think you are?"
"U-h um I'm s-sorry I don't-"
"What? You don't what?" Jimin's actions scared Hoseok. He had never seen him act this fierce to someone he had never met. He had to at least have a reason first. "Know what the fuck you're doing?"
"Jimin." Hoseok put a hand on his shoulder, to calm him down but it didn't work.
"Don't touch me."
Jungkook's brain was hot wiring at all the information thrown at him. He heard that everyone loved this so called superstar. Why was he acting this way? "U-m. I'm sorry if I uh offended you or something but-"
"Ha." He smirked, the thick lips pressed firm against one another. "You will be sorry." With that he let go, strolling through the alley. "You better watch your back Jeon. There's a lot of dangerous people in this neighborhood. A lot."
Before you say anything, no Jimin doesn't top.
