Double update!

Both teenagers had a slight glow to them. Recently fed being an excuse Jimin used instead of thinking it was because of his company. They found their way to an old comic book store, both of them cruising the aisles for anything interesting. The bookshelves that divided the store weren't tall at all, Jungkook's eyes captured the slight layer of dust on top and tried his hardest not to inhale it. He almost chuckled a little when he spotted the blond mop of hair moving slowly, probably trying to make sure that he didn't miss anything he could possibly like. It made the younger feel warm inside, the weather no longer affecting him. His eyes drifted from his friend to the shelves he was supposed to be looking at, a specific edition piqued his interest. "Jimin! Come here."

He saw the small head speedwalk over, the giggle had no choice but to escape his mouth. "What? Did you find something funny?"

"No... not really." He pulled out the small book, careful not to rip the edges.

Jimin decided he liked Jungkook's smile, his laugh. He was even more excited that the younger found something to share with him. "Superman? That's it?"

"That's it? How could you say that? He's one of the best superheroes of all time! One of the first ones that made a difference! Don't you know that he changed the public's perception on 'aliens'? He's done so much for everyone across the globe!"

Jimin chuckled at the overworked teen. "Oh really? I didn't know you were so into superheroes Kook."

The younger tried not to pay attention to the cute nickname and instead showed Jimin the quality of the limited edition comic. "Look at the detail, the colors..."

Jimin was gushing at his interest in the topic. He was like a little boy again, showing his friend the importance of those types of books. "Did you read this a lot as a kid?"

"Yeah my dad read them to me when I got ready for bed..." His eyes look past the page, into the memories he enjoyed to reminisce. "He always had a theory about the characters in every book but I remember the Superman one the best. He said that anyone can choose to be a hero or a villain because both have tragic backgrounds but what matters is what you do about it."

Jimin smiled, contemplating the idea. What matters is what you do about it... He supposes he could continue in his father's footsteps, pushing away anyone that comes close to him. Looking at his friend tenderly place the book back on the shelf, he decides against it.

"But even superheroes need help sometimes." He shrugs, giving a look that said if you need help, I'm here.

Jimin hates that look, he hates when people pity him, acting like he's a vulnerable puppy. "I think superheroes don't want help because they have everything under control. They're superheroes for Pete's sake."

Jungkook tensed up, thinking of a way to disagree with him without making it an argument. "I think they all have a time when it's too much, then they should ask for help and come out better in the end."

"Well not everyone needs help Jungkook." His arms cross, slightly tapping his foot.

"Yeah Jimin. Everyone." Jungkook looked down as he said this, scanning the aisles for anything else. He sighs, knowing he ruined the mood. "I think we should walk back home." He steps out into the crisp air before Jimin had a chance to respond, head still low. The blond knows he fucked up, seeing a look of disappointment on Jungkook's face. He didn't mean to, he never wanted the younger to be anything but happy. Jimin runs up behind him and hugs his muscly friend, stopping Jungkook mid step. "Jimin what are you-"

"Shut up. I won't do this often."

The younger chuckles, turning around in the hug. His chin rests on Jimin's head, closing his eyes at the feeling of little fingers gripping the back of his shirt. Neither said a word as they basked in the sunlight.
