Wow I'm bad at updating... hate on me if ya want
Jungkook was going to shit his pants.
His thoughts were buzzing with excitement, constantly imagining the various outcomes of how this could play out. Jungkook texted Jimin earlier to invite him to the fair. Although they always see each other, they never plan actual dates. The younger thought this would be the perfect opportunity to give his boyfriend a present he's been holding onto for way too long. "Jungkook!" The panting boy's grin widened. "Have you been waiting here for awhile?" The younger reddened at the sight.
Jimin was beautiful. "Y-Your hair..." The smaller blushed at Jungkook's reaction. Earlier that day, Jimin decided to dye his hair black, a contrast to his usual soft blond locks. He wanted to experiment a new look, one that he thought Jungkook would like. He was right about that.
"You like it? I-I thought that because I usually have a light blond color, it would look weird to transition to such a dark shade..." Now it was Jimin's turn to feel flustered. He noticed Jungkook taking baby steps forward to lightly comb through the soft hair.
"You never look weird hyung, you're always so attractive. Like a model."
Jimin's cheeks burned at the compliment, pushing off Jungkook's hand before styling up his hair again. "No I don't. You look more like a model than me. You could probably join Gucci and they would have you on the front pages."
"Shut up, no I wouldn't." The boardwalk wasn't too busy. Some families and couples mostly. The taller took the opportunity to intertwine his fingers with Jimin's. "Plus, I like singing better. If anything, I would like to become a famous artist that talks about world problems and stuff we face every day. You know? The important stuff."
"Wow! Jungkookie you're so mature, my cute baby is all grown up!" Jimin fake cries, wiping an imaginary tear out of his eye.
"I'm not the baby!" Letting go of the small hands, Jungkook crosses his arms.
"Well you are younger... and I have more life experience than you."
"Okay..." Jungkook smirked, eyes shinning with playfulness. "But I take care of you." Jimin rolled his eyes and kept walking, hopefully the cool breeze will calm him down. "What? Jimin! You know I'm right!"
The raven haired boy giggled, slowing down so Jungkook could catch up. Their hands linked again, swinging in between them. "The fair looks so pretty at night." With the breeze lightly pushing Jimin's hair around, Jungkook thought he was seeing a scene in a movie. He was starstruck.
"Yeah, so beautiful." It didn't take them long to fall into a comfortable aura. Light jokes and soft laughter couldn't be stopped on this perfect night. "Hey Min, let's go on the ferris wheel."
Jimin's smile dropped, looking up at the 20-story high metal infrastructure. "I... I don't know. I'm not a fan of heights."
"Aww come on hyung, I'll be right there with you. I promise." Jungkook's lower lip stuck out in a pout, both of his hands clasped in front. Jimin sighed, rolling his eyes. "Please Min?" Eventually he gave in, nodding in response and the younger hopped up and down in joy. "Yay! Okay let's get in line."
