The next day was quick to arrive, the breeze picking up speed to rustle the leaves. When Jimin came to school with his friends, he didn't see a little child running up to him with food. He tried to pass it off with a shrug after walking slower near the entrance. But Hoseok saw. Hoseok sees everything.

The younger wouldn't be seen until lunch time, bag on his back jumping around until he found the group. "Hi everyone!" His entire face glowed with the sunshine despite the events that happened yesterday.

Jimin looked up from his phone confused at the cheerfulness that was starting to freak him out. When Jungkook brought out an extra lunchbox, that's when he lost it. Hand clutching his stomach, light giggles escaped through his tiny fingers, showing a new side to him. "You're crazy!" He couldn't stop grinning. Hoseok only saw this side of him twice in the time that he's known Jimin, and neither reason was because of him. So what does Jungkook possess that he doesn't?

"Maybe." Jungkook grinned while pulling out the dishes. "My mom always said to have patience and give people second chances." Jimin's smile flattened, now quiet as he nods. After he takes a bite, his eyes widen, coughing on the food. "Oh my god are you okay?"

The youngest pats his back, hoping to help but Jimin pushes him away. "I-I'm fine. I was just... surprised." Jungkook raises an eyebrow. The small bean stood up, embarrassed. He was about to turn away when he gives them all a side glance. "I'm- I'm sorry." Jimin runs away, never to be seen for the rest of lunch.

Later that afternoon, when Jungkook walked past the smoking triangle of buddies, he expected more than Jimin's nod. He expected Jimin to say some sentence that would entrap him in that very spot, not for him to light another bud. It's almost as if Jimin was being... nice to him...

Weird.

So he continued his walk without further damage. Now when he arrived home and his mother asked how his day was, he actually had a reason to smile about it. "It was good." Thinking back to the small blond, his grin spread wider. "Really good."

Sorry it's short :/
