She, me and her

Chapter 2

"Ms. Deshmukh, I think your father talked to you regarding getting you a tutor and he wants me to search a tutor for you from our college".

The dean is one of the person who irritates Divya to the core. He calls her Ms. Deshmukh which she doesn't like to be called. Now her father is planning for a tutor which is further more irritating. 

The dean continues with his talk "I have talked to some Professors in our college who are interested in teaching you. They are Professor Shivanad, Professor Archana, Professor Rao and Professor Krishna Arjun Prasad. Who you are o.k with will be your tutor."

Divya thinks over and says "Professor Krishna Arjun will do sir."

The dean strikes some names on his note. He lifts his head and says "I will talk to Professor Krishna Arjun Prasad and let you know. You may leave now."

Divya goes out to find Alisha strolling across the corridor waiting for Divya. She asks "Why did the dean call you?"

Divya sulks and replies "My father wants a tutor for me and I had to select among some teachers. I selected Arjun sir."

Alisha claps her hand and says "Nice choice. He is better among all the teachers except that he doesn't talk much."

Divya says "True."

Just then they see Arjun coming towards dean's office. Divya understood why he came. After sometime he comes out. Divya says "So why did the dean call you?"

Arjun says "I think you know why". Divya says "So from when are you starting?"

Arjun says "From tomorrow." He leaves. She goes to her classes. After her class she goes out and sees that her scooty is punctured. Her friends have also left. She looks around and locks her scooty and leaves it in the college. She goes and stands in the bus stop waiting for the bus to her house. 

Just then she sees Arjun coming on his bike. He stops seeing her in the bus stop. He asks "Why are you here?"

Divya feels relieved seeing Arjun pass by. She says "My scooty is punctured. If you don't mind can you drop me at my home, please?"

Arjun says "Well fine come."

Divya climbs on Arjun's bike. He drives her home. Except for her giving directions Arjun doesn't utter a word. After a long ride they reach home. She says "So this is my house. Come inside for tea."

Arjun says "No it's o.k"

Divya says "You have to sir. This is my way of telling thank you and you can't stop a person from telling a thank you."

Arjun smiles and parks his bike. He comes inside and sits in the sofa. Divya goes inside the kitchen to prepare a tea for Arjun. He goes around her house and sees all the photos of Divya with her dad and parents. He sees another room with girls things in it. That doesn't seem to be Divya's room. She comes to him and he asks "Whose room is this?"

"My dad's friends daughter Honey's room. She lives here with me."

Arjun nods. Divya says "Anyway your tea is ready. Come."

He comes and drinks his tea. He asks "Where is your friend?"

She works in Hotel Addison as receptionist. She comes home at 10 in the night and leaves at morning 8."

Arjun nods. After finishing the tea Arjun stands up and says "Tomorrow 6 'o'clock sharp."

Divya nods and Arjun leaves. In a corner of her heart Divya felt that Arjun is an interesting guy who just needs to be explored and is waiting to open up.
