She, me and her

Chapter 3

It's been three days while Arjun started his classes. Divya is feeling that Arjun is awesome. He listens to whatever she tells, he too shares his own experiences and enjoys with her. Everyday after tuition they both go on a walk before he leaves home. From 6 to 8.30 Divya enjoys studying and enjoys the new friendship.

After their class of accounts Divya is tiered and says "I am tiered anyway it is ten minutes to eight so shall we end the class?"

Arjun closes the books, shrugs his shoulders and says "O.k then, so shall we go out on a walk?" Divya nods. They both go on a walk. Divya says "Tea over there is good, shall we have?"

Arjun nods. They both walk to the tea stall near Divya's house. They order a masala tea and start drinking it. Divya gestures with her eyes asking how is it. Arjun joins his fore finger and thumb gesturing that it's awesome.

After their tea they pay the tea vendor and start walking towards Divya's house. On the way three shabbily dressed men come and block their way. They didn't look pleasant and didn't feel right. One of them comes nearer to Divya and says "What a girl, what is she made of gold or diamond?"

The others giggle and one of them says "Whatever she is made of she is so damn tempting." Divya holds Arjun's hand tightly and moves closer to him. Arjun looks into her eyes and notices the fear in it. One of the men interrupts and says "Kashi, Anju, look nice romance is happening have a look before you miss it."

Arjun breaks the eye contact and looks at the men. He says "Please move away. We need to go."

Anju says "Oh Madan he wants us to move because his lady is getting scared. So nice, aww...". All the three start laughing. Arjun and Divya try to get away from the side but the men block their way. Arjun says "I am asking one last time give us way or else..."

"Or else what, you will hit us?" All the three start laughing. Arjun removes Divya's hand gripped to his hand. He takes two steps facing Kashi. He closes his fists and punches Kashi in the stomach. He clenches his stomach and sinks to the ground. Divya is dumbstruck by Arjun's act. She is amused and shocked.

The other two charge towards Arjun. He catches Madan's hands and twists them. He starts yelling. Arjun says "Say sorry to her. Say sorry."

Madan says in agony "Sorry sister, I am sorry". Anju has already started running. Divya looks at Arjun with wide eyes. He comes near her and puts her hands back on his hand and says "Senorita, shall we go?"

All over the way Divya doesn't break her eyes from Arjun. He doesn't look at her. After reaching home Divya says "Thanks for that."

Arjun nods and says "I won't let my friend into trouble."

Divya smiles and says "So we are friends?"

"You don't expect me to go on a walk everyday with my student who learns accounts and economics from me." They both laugh. Divya says "Fine you leave now, it's late."

"You go inside." Divya waves Arjun and turns back to leave. She again turns towards Arjun and says "Sir, I have a doubt. You are so damn cool and an interesting guy so why do you stay silent, calm and dull in college?"

Arjun smiles and says "I open up only to people whom I feel close to me. I feel you close and special. Anyway Bye, goodnight."

"Good night." Divya goes into her house and sees Arjun leave from her window. She goes into her room and grabs a big teddy bear. She imagines it as Arjun and says "You are such an interesting guy. You are so cool."

After two hours the calling bell rings. Divya goes and opens the door. It's Honey, Divya's dad's friend Ram's daughter who is staying with Divya. She has returned home from work. Divya comes down and opens the door, still hugging the teddy in her arms.

Honey comes in and drops in the chair. She starts telling about her day but soon realizes that Divya is lost with her teddy. She shouts "Divya, Don't tell me you have gone back to your teddy age? "

Divya rises from her chair and says "Not the teddy, Arjun, he is so damn nice, I think I..."

"Love him?"Honey adds to her.

Divya blushes and says "Hmm... Maybe ya. He too thinks that I am special to him."

Honey says "Oh wow, so tell him your feelings". Divya shakes her head and says "No, not now. It's hardly a week since we know each other. Let me spend some time with him then I will tell my feelings."

Honey nods and says "Good. I hope your love is successful unlike mine."

Divya puts a hand around Honey and says "Relax, it won't happen like your and Krishna's story. I will take a proper decision. Anyway dad gave me the liberty to chose my suitor."

Honey smiles and says "Ya, true."
