She, me and her

Chapter 11

Divya wakes up on the Sunday morning of her second day in Delhi. She sees that Meghana and Mrs. Prasad are sitting and talking probably about the good old days. Divya goes into the balcony to find Arjun drinking coffee. Divya goes and stands beside him and says "Good Morning Arjun."

Arjun turns to Divya with a smile and says "Good morning Divya. So you wanted to meet your parents isn't it?"

Divya says "Ya. I told them that I am coming. I will go after breakfast and come back by evening."

Arjun says his voice turning concerned "So how are you going?" Divya says "I am going by cab or auto."

Arjun stands straight and says "What, you will go alone? I will drop you and get you back also. It will even be an opportunity  to meet your parents."

Divya smiles and nods.

Divya and Arjun go on Arjun's old bike. The weather is sunny and Divya puts on a scarf on her head while Arjun wears a helmet.

Arjun keeps driving without Divya telling the directions. Divya says "You know Delhi really well."

Arjun says "I lived here for 26 years and you think I don't know."

They reach Divya's parent's house a big mansion in an elite colony. Divya goes to the security and tells the security that she is the daughter of Mr. Deshmukh and the security let's her and Arjun in.

They both go inside. A tall man with Divya's eyes and a woman as fair as Divya are sitting in a sofa. Divya runs to them and hugs them. They stand up and Divya says "Arjun he is my dad Mr. Arya Deshmukh and she is my mother Mrs. Sarayu Deshmukh."

Arya and Sarayu greet Arjun and offer him a seat. Divya has told her parents about Arjun and Meghana ,her return and his confusion. Sarayu says "So Arjun do you have any plans for future?"

Arjun says "I am trying for a job in Tata Consultancy services and I am attending the interview tomorrow. If I get a job there 1.5 lacs salary."

Arya says "That's good."

The evening passed beautifully and Arjun liked Divya's parents and they too liked them. While leaving Sarayu calls Divya aside and tells "You chose a nice guy, but don't lose him."

Divya nods and says "I promise I won't."
