She, me and her

Chapter 8

Divya, Arjun and Meghana go to a cafe near the college. Everybody sit silently,looking at each other. No body understands what to talk or how to start. Finally Divya clears her throat and says "So...You people must be having a lot to talk. You guys carry on until I go and ring up Alisha. She is worried."

Arjun nods in an agreement. Divya goes away from them and rings up Alisha. She sees that Arjun and Meghana are talking something. Just then Alisha picks up the call and asks "What happened, is Honey only Meghana if I am not mistaken,what is happening there, will Arjun sir move on with you or be with Meghana?"

Divya who is already tiered shouts "Can you please shut that question bank of yours. I called you to tell the same thing so listen. Yes she is Meghana. We didn't talk anything till now but now Arjun sir and Meghana have just started talking."

Alisha says "What if Arjun sir gets back with Meghana?"

Divya's mouth goes dry. She gulps some water and says "No, no nothing of that sort will happen. Arjun sir has moved on. He loves me. So.."

"You guys once talk and decide and don't raise your hopes Divya". Alisha cuts the call. Divya stands there and thinks over. She takes a deep breath and goes in. She sees Meghana and Arjun still talking, though they don't look much cheerful. Meghana moves aside indicating her to sit. 

Divya sits beside Meghana. Meghana says "Hmm...Arjun is confused about ...you know...us both. So..."

Arjun continues "So we decided that we will go on a trip to Delhi, anyway I got to go and meet my family there and stay there for three days. After that we will go to Pune and stay there for four days, total a week trip. After that... if I can't decide among any of you, you both only make a choice"

Divya nods and says "Well nice. So when are we leaving?"

"Day after tomorrow."

Divya says "Good. O.k so shall we leave? It'10 already. "

Meghana nods and says "Ya, I will go and bring the car, you guys wait here". She goes out. Divya also stands to leave when Arjun catches her hand. He says "I still stand on the words I told you an hour ago. I love you Divya. But the thing is I even love Meghana."

Divya says "You have to choose among one of us sir. This one week is for you."

Arjun says "O.k, but don't call me sir, call me Arjun. Anyway we are lovers."

Divya smiles and says "O.k Arjun". They both have an eye lock, both drilling holes into each others eyes with their eyes. Horn from Meghana's car interrupts them. They both go out and get into the car. Meghana drops Arjun at the college, where his bike is parked and they both leave for home.

All the way they both don't talk anything. After reaching home they silently go into their respective bedrooms with a formal good bye.
