Chapter 9

Divya comes to Rock Garden as Arjun wanted to talk to her. She sees Arjun sitting there and looking at his phone. Seeing her come he stands up. Divya asks him "Why did you call me here? I gotta do lot of packing for today's train."

Arjun says "Divya I need to talk to you personally."

Divya asks "About what?"Arjun holds her hands tightly and says "I am confused Divya. Whatever problems I had this one year I shared it with you. Even now I want to share with you. I am confused Divya. I loved Meghana for one year and you also for one year thinking that she is gone. But now she is back. What shall I do? Should I choose my past or continue with my present."

Divya puts a hand around him and says "It is something related to your heart so take time. Don't break your head. This trip is for you to know what you want. So ask this question to yourself at the end of the trip, if you have to. I feel you will get the answer yourself."

Arjun nods his head. Divya says "I gotta go then. Bye, see you in the railway station tonight."

Divya leaves home.

Evening Meghana and Divya reach the railway station. They both sit on the bench waiting for Arjun. Divya asks Meghana "Have you met Arjun's family before?"

Meghana says with a smile "Yes, I met them twice when I was in college. His family members are nice people, his mom and dad and his younger sister Shriya. Did you ever meet them, you never mentioned me meeting them?"

Divya shakes her head and says "No. I just saw their photos in his house. He told me that he loves his family a lot. He was waiting to go back home."

Just then Divya spots Arjun come into the railway station dressed in a T shirt an torn jeans unlike his usual dressing. Divya goes running to him and says "Wow Arjun you look damn cool."

Arjun gives a shy smile and says "Thanks Divya". She asks "Why don't you wear such dresses to college or to my home or when we meet."

Arjun says "Because I wanted to be like a teacher not a student. Anyway I wore T shirts sometimes when we used to go out on weekends."

Divya punches him. He pulls her near to hit her when they both realize that Meghana is watching them. He lets her go. Meghana says "Hi Krishna, you look nice."

Arjun says "Thanks Meghana."

The train has arrived. Arjun boards first . He helps with the luggage. After the luggage is kept Meghana boards the train. After Meghana boards Divya boards the train. Suddenly her leg slips and when she is about to fall Arjun catches her hand and pulls her into the train. Divya's hair gets tangled in Arjun's chain. He tries to free it but it doesn't give away.

Just then Meghana comes and sees them struggle with her hair. She comes and pulls the hair firmly from the necklace. Divya gives out a shout in pain. Meghana says "I am sorry. I had to do this because you guys must were struggling."

Divya nods and says "It's O.k". They go into their compartment and sit in their seats. Meghana sits beside Arjun while Divya sits facing them. Arjun says "It is 8.30 now. We will reach Delhi by 7.30."

The train starts, leaving Dadar railway station. Divya looks outside the windows, seeing Mumbai   getting away by every minute until they are out of Mumbai on their way to Delhi.

Coming Up: Arjun says "Mom, I never knew that Meghana's marriage was broken. That is why I loved Divya. Now I am confused. Whom do you think should I choose as my life partner?"
