She, me and her

Chapter 10

The trio reach Delhi by morning. It's the fourth time for Divya in Delhi but not like every time, she is nervous. Arjun stops an auto and all of them get in while Arjun tells the address as Karol Bagh. Arjun sits beside the driver in the front seat while Meghana and Divya sit in the backseat with the luggage. 

Arjun keeps directing the driver and both the girls sit silently. Divya finally breaks the ice and says "My parents also live in Delhi. Not in Karol Bagh but in Chanakyapuri, both quiet near I guess."

Meghana says "Not too near, half an hour journey. Anyway you can meet them."

After sometime they reach Arjun's apartment. It is in the second floor. Arjun loads all the luggage in the lift when an old lady comes. She says "Oh Arjun, it's been long since I met you boy."

Arjun smiles and says "Me too aunty, long time."

As he closes the lift she notices Meghana and says "Oh, you how are you?"

Meghana smiles and says "Fine aunty."

The lady says "So how is your husband?" Meghana looks at Arjun who replies "She is not with her husband now."

The lady gives a sympathetic smile and says "Oh sorry dear. Anyway who is this girl."

Arjun says "Oh she is my friend or my student in the college I work in. Her parents live here. So she came here."

The lady smiles and Divya smiles back. just then their floor arrives and all four of them get down. Arjun pulls out the luggage. They go to a flat named Prasad's and Arjun rings the bell. A lady nearing he sixties open the door and says in surprise"Krish, you told me you are coming tomorrow. I have not arranged anything yet."

Arjun smiles and says "It's OK mom. Anyway she is Divya and Meghana, you know her."

Mrs. Prasad smiles and says "Yes. Both of you come in". Divya and Meghana understand that Arjun told her the situation. Divya and Meghana go to fresh up. After Divya takes a bath she comes out to see that Arjun is with his mom, head in her lap. 

Divya hides behind the door and listens. Arjun says "I never missed you or Shriya or dad. Divya was like a family to me. Supported me in my hard times. But now..."

Mrs. Prasad brushes his hair and says "I can understand. Continue."

Arjun says "Mom, I never knew that Meghana's marriage was broken. That is why I loved Divya. Now I am confused. Whom do you think should I choose as my life partner?"

Mrs. Prasad says "It's related to your heart. You will soon get the answer yourself. Meghana or Divya, your heart will answer you."
