Your POV
"Sound off."
"Alpha Company ready."
"Bravo Company ready."
"Charlie Company ready."
We were all separated into groups of 5 per company, Undyne gathered her best men and split us up we were surrounding Mt. Ebott for intel informed us that they were located near the area. I was in Bravo surprisingly leading them, I'm not sure why Undyne chose me to lead them, what the heck was she thinking..
"We're ready to move sir." said one of the SWAT members "We'll move on your command."
"Undyne what's your status?" I said through the earpiece.
"Alpha hasn't spotted anything yet." she replied "What about your Charlie?"
"Charlie Company, respond" repeated Undyne "Crap. We lost contact."
"Everyone survey the area, we need to find Charlie Company." she commanded.
The men with me are armed with standard M16 Rifles, while I had no weapon. Unydne said that I should just use my powers. After nearly an hour of searching, my company found Charlie company all wounded and their weapons broken.
"We found them." I said through the earpiece.
Undyne's POV
How could this happen, 5 of my men taken down so easily not to mention their weapons broken. Just what are we dealing with here, these aren't your everyday humans.
"Alpha company listen up, you and bravo company take the wounded back to base." I commanded to them.
"But ma'am, what about you and (Y/N)?" my head commander asked worried.
"We'll be alright, I trust you men, but I cannot risk more of you great SWAT members getting hurt like this. We'll take it from here." I reassured him.
"Are you sure commander?" he asked one last time.
"Yes I am sure, take the wounded back to base along with everyone else we'll take it from here."
"Yes ma'am!"
Your POV
"Why did you send them all off Undyne?" I asked her a bit confused.
"I know what you're thinking, those were my best men and I trusted in them. But they're just human, from the looks of Charlie Company, we're dealing with someone or something that isn't human." she explained.
"I guess you're right," I scratched the back of my head "The wounds were clean cuts, just like the one that cut the van's brakes in half."
What could cause something like this though. What ever or who ever it is, it had the guts to hurt all of those innocent monsters, those SWAT members and my family. I will make sure it'll feel pain beyond comprehension.
"Hold up." said Undyne who surveyed the area. "We're being watched."
My eyes glowed (F/C) as I looked around, I could see an outline of a person from behind the trees. I shot a beam towards the trees and the person manifested himself in front us from a shadow. He was wearing a mask.
"That soul of yours, such a powerful tool." the person said "It's a shame you use it to protect others, I can help you use it at your full potential."
"You've been the one causing all of this haven't you!" I yelled at him.
"Geez, I wonder what gave it away, the monsters who were mortally injured or your wounded SWAT team." he mocked.
Undyne threw a spear towards him and he caught it with ease.
"What a cute toy, I'll need this toothpick later." he said shattering the spear. "You know, I would love to stay and fight armored sushi but that accompany of yours has me on the run for now."
The person said disappearing into the shadows.
"COME BACK YOU COWARD." I said launching a bunch of beams toward the shadow the flew through the air.
"Let him go (Y/N), we'll get him next ti-"
I ran after the shadow not wanting it to escape.
"(Y/N)!" said Undyne running after me.
I chased the shadow into the woods to the foot of Mt. Ebott, wait this is where the barrier broke.
"Since you both followed me here, might as well introduce myself." said the mysterious person who manifested himself a few feet in front of us. "The name's Schatten, and I'll end you right here and now."
"Bring it." I said engulfing my fists into (F/C) flames "Woah never knew I could do this."
"Are you for real punk.." Unydne sweat dropped.
"Are you two done babbling?" Schatten said impatiently.
"Yup." I said firing a beam towards him.
