Chapter Twenty One

"You didn't tell him yet?!" Nighwing groaned as he punched one of Crane's goon. "No I didn't. Dude, I just couldn't. It was so difficult to tell him, there was always an interruption whenever I tried to." Eva sighed loudly beside Dick as she kicked the man's legs, sending him to the floor, she tied up his feet and shot the rope up to one of the pipes on the ceiling.

"You know Tigress, you might as well tell him when we meet him soon." Nightwing said, a smile on his face at her new name, he preferred it more than K. Crane's goon was lifted up by the rope, soon becoming the punching bag of Nightwing and his new alley.

"I can't do that! He'll- wait, did u just call me Tigress..?" Eva asked in bewilderment as the two surrounded Crane's poor goon. The rest were all knocked out and the two only left one to tell them Crane's location.

"Yeah. I mean, it suits you better than K." Nightwing said cheekily. "Tigress. Tigress," he said a couple of times, taking a liking to it, "it has a better ring to it. I'm a genius!" Nightwing threw a punch at the man who was hanging upside down, it very much reminded Eva of a bat.

Eva expected that today, prowling in the night with Dick would have been weird after they both figured out who were behind the masks. But surprisingly, it wasn't weird or awkward at all. Instead, it was much better, it felt natural and Eva loved it.

"Okay genius, thanks for the new nickname. But, I still can't tell batman. At least not now." Eva sighed before squatting down to face the man, "alright. Where's Crane?" Eva said as if she was uninterested. The goon however, was a bulky bald man who had a scar running from his ear till the edge of his eye, also seemed uninterested, "I'm not telling you two shit! You don't scare me! Did the big bad bat push you two kids to do his job!?" The goon scoffed mockingly.

"Hey, I'm no kid. Take that back before you regret it big guy." Eva sang tauntingly in a grin that could not be seen due to her mask, but to Nightwing he could hear her grinning as clear as day as if it was even possible.

"I think you should listen to the lady, big man." Nightwing punched the guy in the stomach. "I'm not telling you two shit!" The bald man managed to spit out.

Eva sighed standing up and cracking her neck, "alright, we only have to do this the hard way then." Eva said as she strolled over at Nightwing's sleek motorbike.

"Voice recognition; activate." Nightwing said and the motorbike revved up instantly. "Hey that's cool." Eva said impressed while Dick smirked.

Dick let loose of the rope and the man fell down with a thud and a groan, "h-hey what're you d-doing?" The man said to Dick as Eva drove the motorbike closer.

"The hard way." Dick said with a big smirk and a taunting tone, "now big guy, hold still."

The motorbike's tire was close to the guy's face and his eyes grew wider and almost popped out of his skull. The goon started to scream, a tear slipping out of his eye as he imagined his head being opened up like a watermelon.

Eva revved up again making him squirm in his place, "where's Crane?!" Eva asked growling and the man instantly gave up.

"Alright! Alright! Alright! No one really knows where he is okay? But one of his teams' base are in Ace Chemicals! H-he m-might be there too! I swear to god!" The man said in a shakey voice as he peed himself, making Dick raise a brow.

"Swear to me!" Eva said in a growl. She didn't think scaring someone this much was going to be this fun. Is this what batman enjoyed doing secretly?

"I-I swear to you!" The man said as he shut his eyes tight while Eva revved loudly just to scare him.

"Alright, we're done here." Eva nodded her head to Dick and with one swift kick to the head, the big bald man was out cold.
