"Okay you've been smiling and peppy all day," Zoe says sitting down in front of me at lunch "Spill." I smile and look down at my mash potatoes. "It's a guy isn't it?!" I push around my mash potatoes and she grabs my fork "Zoe!" "Thena it's a guy!"
"What's a guy?" Kenz asks "Your shirt is cute," she adds looking at me.

"Thena likes a guy!" Zoe shouts and I smack her hand "No!" I say then Kenz sits down "Okay maybe." "Who is it?" Zoe squeals and Kenz looks at me "It's that football player from Potter isn't it?"
I shove mash potatoes in my mouth so I wouldn't have to answer. "What's his name... Harry?" "Harry Styles!" Zoe gasps "He's SO hot! He was at the performance yester-" her jaw drops as she puts the two together. "He was here to see you! Oh my God!" she puts her head in her hands.
"It's Harry," I admit "we're hanging out after his practice today, I'm gonna get all the little ones and take Dex to practice then dad's gonna pick him up on the way home." "That's literally the opposite of the type of guy your brother would want you to date." Zoe giggles sipping her water "Which is why Ash can't know," I look at them both "I'm serious. He can't know." "Thena he'll find out somehow." Kenz says and I shrug "I'll deal with it when it happens then. He doesn't control me."
The rest of the day goes by slow, and when the final bell rings I leave my statistics class as fast as I possibly could. I get my homework and shove it in my backpack, slamming my locker shut and with my keys in hand I headed out to my Jeep. I drive the whole two minutes down to the elementary school that lets out five minutes after us. I park and walk up to the main lobby doors and wait for the kids to walk out.
"Thena!" I hear Emmy squeal as she runs up to me "Hey princess!" I pick her up "How was your day?" she wraps her arms around my neck "Good! The nap I had was really great." I chuckle as Dex walks out "Hey Dex I'm taking you to practice but dad will pick you up okay?" "Sounds good." I put Emmy down and they take my hands as we walk back to my car and drive home.
The drive consisted of the two telling me all about their day, Emmy got five math problems right so she got to get a sticker, and Dex played football at recess with some of his friends and he played quarterback just like Asher does. "I wanna play soccer like you Thena!" Emmy grins as we pull in the driveway "Tell your mommy that and I bet she'll sign you up." "Okay!"
The two run inside to greet Luna and Caroline. "Lulu's napping babes, she'll be up soon." Caroline kisses their heads and smiles at me "No practice?" "Day off, thankfully." I sit down at the breakfast nook as the two little ones pull out their homework to do. "Thena can you help me with my homework? It's more math." Emmy asks and I move one seat over next to her "Sure thing Em."
Once Emmy finishes her homework Luna is up and she runs to go play with her baby sister and I make Dexter a grilled cheese before he gets ready for practice. "Go change and when you're done you can eat." he runs upstairs and Caroline walks in "Seriously what am I gonna do when you aren't here? I'm gonna go crazy." I chuckle cutting Dex's sandwich "You'll be fine, once you start work again Luna can go to daycare and dad can deal with the young ones until you're done."
