I'm pulling my hair back into a low bun when a text pops up on my phone from Harry.

how does driving over here sound for today? gem needs you asap

i'll leave in a few, everything okay??

Luckily I didn't take a long time to get ready this morning, so I grab my backpack and head downstairs. "Hey I'm running to Harry's, his sister needs me for something." I tell Caroline when I walk into the kitchen and kiss little Lu's cheek. "Then to school?" she questions and I nod "Prom is tomorrow, I'll be going to school today don't worry," I flash her a smile. "Text me if you need me to get Lu from daycare!" I call before leaving the house.

I hop into my Jeep and drive over to Harry's house, a nervous pit in my stomach as I drove.

I want everything to be okay.

I pull into the driveway, leaving my backpack in the car and just grabbing my keys, wallet, and phone. I head up to the porch and the door swings open, my beautiful boy standing in the doorway.

"Morning angel," he smiles as I walked over to him. He wraps an arm around me and kisses my head "Morning," I smile up at him before heading inside. "Everything alright?" I question and he nods "Everything's fine," he reassures me "Gem just has something big going on. She wants you to know."

I follow Harry into the kitchen where Anne and Gemma sat at the little nook table, Gem jumping out of her seat when she sees me. "There you are!" she cheers and gives me a hug. "I was told I was needed," I giggle and she nods "You are, and it's important." Gemma says while taking both my hands into hers.

"I'm getting married."

My eyes go wide "Ben proposed?" I gasped and she grins before nodding. "Yes, and we want to get married soon, really really soon." "How soon?" I question and she lets go of my hands "May 27th," Gem responds before looking back at Anne then back to me. "It's the day Robin proposed to mum," Harry explains "it's an important day."

"Which is why we want to get married that day," Gem starts "because it's so special." Gemma's smile comes back onto her face. "And I want you to be my maid of honor Thena." I could feel the smile forming on my face "Really?" I grin and she nods "You're a blessing, I can't imagine life without you." Gem smiles at me "I've actually written you a little note."

Gemma walks over to the table and picks up a little envelope with 'Maid of Honor' written on it, and hands it to me. "I want you by my side when I get married," she tells me "you've been by my side these past few months and I can't thank you enough for it."

"Gem of course!" I say before giving her a hug. "I would be honored," I tell her while giving her a squeeze. "Perfect!" Gem grins once we pull apart "Because Ben asked Harry to be his best man, which makes this even cuter."

My eyes flicked from Gemma to her younger brother, who stood with a smile on his face. "Best maid of honor and best man you'll ever see," Harry spoke up. "Eleanor will be a bridesmaid too," Gem tells me "so I want to come into school with you today and give her the bridesmaid envelope."

I nod "Let's get going then," I smile and Anne stops us. "I want a picture of the bride and maid of honor!" she cheers "Let's take them outside." "Aw but Thena looks so nice," Gem whines pointing at my outfit.
