Today was the day.
Back to school, musical auditions.
And the first day of Moore and Potter being combined.
Today was also the day Caroline decided she wanted to head back to work. She works at the law firm in town as one of the lawyers, she took leave when Luna was born and wanted to wait awhile to go back. I was starting back at the diner twice a week, and Ash started his job at the mechanics during Christmas break.
Chaotic was an understatement for this morning.
On top of this, Anne needed to do some test shoots for the 2017 posters for the studio, so she wanted me to come model after school for them.
"Okay who's taking which kid?" Ash questioned while walking into my room while I finished my hair. "Caroline is taking Lu, dad's taking the other two to school." I look over my shoulder at him "You can take my Jeep, I'm going to Harry's after school so he's swinging by to get me."
Ash nods "I'll fill her up for you!" he called while walking out "You're a blessing!" I call back while putting in my earrings.

I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs to eat, and to give Caroline a breather so she could finish getting ready. "Luna needs fed, and Emmy's about to come downstairs needing her hair done." Caroline explains and I smile "I've got this, go get ready."
"Ready to eat?" I coo while picking up Luna and setting her in her high chair. I give her some Cheerios and banana just as Emmy comes barreling into the kitchen. "What hairstyle we going for today monkey?" I ask her while she climbed up into a seat. "Like yours sissy!"
I brush back her hair and pull it up into the little scrunchie she brought downstairs. "Look good bub?" I ask her as she looked in my phone screen. "Good Thena!" she looks up at me and I smile.
She runs off when dad called for her and Dex so they could leave, so I finished feeding Luna. I got the rest of her diaper bag packed for daycare, and Caroline came back downstairs just as I was getting Luna's coat and shoes on.
"You're a lifesaver Athena Mae," she laughs and I smile. "Good luck on your first day back," I tell Caroline as she scooped up Luna. "I'm praying that it'll be a good day," she says before grabbing all of hers and Luna's things. Then she was off, and Asher came downstairs.
"How weird do you think today will be?" Ash questions while grabbing my Jeep keys. "Extremely weird," I reply while grabbing my backpack. "We've got an assembly during homeroom for us seniors. I'll see you then." Ash nods before heading out to my Jeep, and Harry's pulling up in his car.
"Morning sunshine," Harry smiles at me as I got into the passenger side. "Morning gorgeous," I smile back at him and he puts the car in reverse. "Everything go smooth this morning?" he asks and I laugh "As smooth as it could. What kind of shots did your mom want to take today?"
