Three days down and Malia has become a bit...Well obsessed.
"I hate this, Scott. I hate cooling my heels. Doing nothing while my child dies!" Malia yelled. Attacking the punching bag which she destroyed.
"We're not doing nothing. Right now Kylie is our main focus.
We have to make sure she's better." Scott said. Rubbing her arms.
"Damn it, I hate when you're right.
Fine. What do in the mean time?" Malia asked semi calm.
"Work. Take care of your two other kids. Be with her." Scott said.
"So pretend everything is normal?" Malia asked.
"Basically. Deaton got held up but he got it. He'll be here by tomorrow." Scott said smiling.
"You should have lead with that." Malia hit Scott.
"I like watching you panic."
Scott kissed his wife. I'm going to see her now. Stay with the kids."
Scott said. "I'll let you know what happens." With that Scott left the training room. Saying goodbye to his boys. Raph pestering about being able to go with him.

BEACON HILLS MEMORIAL

Liam and Eugene sat by her bedside.
"Let's see. What else happened?
Oh! I stop shaving. I'm keeping the beard in protest until you get better.
So just get better because the lumberjack look doesn't work for me." Liam laughed through his tears.
"The boys at the Lacrosse team miss you. A lot. Bugging me about it.
I miss you too. Remember me? Flynn Rider? Best friend? You can't leave me like this. You're not going to die. You're too damn stubborn." Eugene joked. While Eugene was talking, Liam sensed something wrong.
"She's burning up again. Melissa! It's happening again!" Liam called.
"Damn it." Melissa bit as she ran in.
"What the hell is happening?"
Eugene asked concerned.
"You two can't be here. Go wait outside." Melissa said and they both complied regrettably.
Bumping into Scott outside the door.
"What's wrong?" Scott asked.
"Her fever spiked again." Liam said.
"Considering the alternative, a little fever isn't bad." Eugene said.
"It is when it gets so high it kills her.
It happened twice in the last twelve hours. She burned up. Her heart stopped and Melissa restarted it." Liam sighed. Scott listened intently.
"One heartbeat. One. Paddles rubbing together..." Scott detailed as he listened. Scott wanted nothing more than to break down and start crying but he was the Alpha. He had to keep it together for the others.
"She's okay. I started her heart. This cannot keep happening. Next time I might not be able to bring her back." Melissa said. "I need some air. Call me if anything happens." Melissa said and went downstairs. Looking around to see that the coast is clear before falling to the floor. Crying.
He looked up when she felt a hand on her shoulder. The best husband ever.
"Figure you'd want some moral support." Chris said and wrapped his arms around her and let her cry.
While The McCall-Argent tribe were in crisis mode, The Trio became a duo.

BEACON HILLS PRESERVE

"What happened to do not engage?" Klaus asked. Vitani paced.
"I just want to have a little talk with him. No one's engaging." Vitani said.
"I know you're pissed. He's a rat bastard but we promised Scott we would wait. It's our chance to show our loyalty." Klaus said.
"This is infuriating! Kylie is our friend. She's dying and we can't even beat up the cause!" Vitani yelled. "Okay...Think of it this way; Scott doesn't entirely trust us because of Leo. If we could prove that were down to be part of the pack by honoring one simple request then we're in. He may not like us but he will accept us." Klaus said.
"Our ticket out...I hate when you make sense." Vitani pouted.
"Get used to it. Now let's go home and I'll make you an extra bloody Mary." Klaus turned her around and walked her out. Leo lurking in the dark.

2 HOURS UNTIL  FULL MOON

"I'm getting impatient, Scott.
Bad things happen when I get impatient. Where the hell is Deaton?" Malia asked annoyed.
"At the Clinic making the antidote." Scott explained.
"Well tell him to hurry his ass up!" Malia left. Scott did what she asked.

TWO MINUTES UNTIL FULL MOON

Kylie was getting worse. She was roasting. Bleeding black blood and her claws started coming out.
"What the hell is he doing?" Malia asked agitated. But just then__ in a total ex-machina moment, Deaton arrived with syringe in hand.
"Oh ye of little faith." Deaton said uncapping the syringe. "Hold her arm still for me, Scott." Scott raced over. He injected the antidote into her veins. She went into another seizure and went still. Malia crying and gripping Scott's arm.
But then something happened.
She started healing, her claws retracted and there was a big gasp for air. She coughed. Malia ran over.
"Hi, mommy." Kylie said tiredly.
"Oh! You scared me, fuzz head." Malia said embracing her daughter.
Scott and Deaton decided to leave a tender moment alone and Scott had a call to make.
"She's in the clear. Do it."

That was the call Vitani and Klaus was waiting for.
