A year of training, plotting and deceit hand gone and the time was almost here.
According to Argent law, once training is complete...You forge a silver bullet as a testament to the code. Eugene Malachi Greenberg, proudly held his cooled, newly minted silver bullet between his fingers. Smiling at how far he came.
"How does it feel?" Chris asked.
"Amazing." He answered.
"Well I'm proud of you. Greenberg..." Valerie teased. She knew how much he loathed his old name.
With his new life as a hunter, he also shed his old name.
"Come on. Call me Kai."
He said with a smile. Being with the Argents built his confidence too.
"Sorry, Greenberg." Valerie joked.
"Enough flirting you two. Valerie you have to get ready for school."
Chris said.
"Valerie Victoria Argent.
Christopher Gabriel Argent.
Eugene Malachi Greenberg!
All of you. Out of that basement, now!" Melissa demanded.
"Your wife still scares me, Argent." Kai sighed.
"Fear is good." Chris said softly.
As Greenberg helped Melissa make breakfast, he wondered how Kylie's morning was going.THE McCALL HOUSE
Kylie snored like a bore with a
head cold.
Raph was doing last minute homework.
Ari was up looking for his mama.
Scott slept while Malia was doing Ankle pull ups.
"Hi, baby." Malia said happily.
"What are we doing?" Ari asked.
"Mommy was just doing some exercise. Scott. Up and at 'em." Malia said hopping down.
"I'm up. I'm at 'em." Scott said tiredly.
"That's not fast enough." Malia said.
"Last night I was too fast. You were begging me to slow down." Scott said deviously. Malia blushed.
"Stop." Malia said cutely.
"Why? If you're worried about Ari, he's four. He won't get it for at least another eight years." Scott said.
"What are you talking about?"
Ari asked innocently.
"Nothing baby. Go wake up your brother and sister." Malia said sweetly. The little boy ran off.
"A little quickie before I leave for work?" Scott asked.
"As much as I would love to service you all day long, I have responsibilities. Children to take care of." Malia said letting down her hair.
"Want one more?" Scott joked.
"Not funny." Malia said.
"Come on. Please?" Scott plead. Wrapping his arms around her waist.
"We'll see." Malia rolled her eyes and Scott let go. "What's with you lately anyway?" Malia asked.
"I don't know. Just seeing you back in action turns me on." Scott said.
"If you two are going to be gross at least close the door." Kylie said disgusted as they passed the door.
"Hey! Us being gross is how you three are even here." Malia reminded.
Kylie tried to wipe the imagery from her mind and hit the shower. The duo moved back into the mansion. Pretending to be friends with Leo again.
Liam snuck out of his new on again/off again lover's bed to go to his own house and get ready for work.
So all in all a normal Monday for them.Ever since that night, Kai and Kylie haven't been right.
Yeah, they still talk and hang out but it's not the same.
"Hey, Greenberg." Kylie said.
"Kylie. Sup, trio." Kai acknowledged.
"Hmm. So you two came here together. Was it planned or..."
Vitani asked.
"Kinda." Valerie said keeping it vague.
"Let's get to class." Leo said and the vampire trio left.
"So guess who finished their Argent training today." Valerie said happily.
"Too late. Me." Kai said excitedly.
"Congratulations." Kylie said.
"Thanks. Nightshade. Get your books before you make us late again."
Kai said. "Bye, Kylie."
"Me?! Who was the one who wanted to stop for chit chat last week?" Valerie asked sarcastically.
"Bye." Kylie stood alone before going to her own locker.
"For the tenth time, Val, That girl talked to me." Kai defended.
"Does it change the fact that your hospitality made us late? No! So shut up." Valerie said.
He stuck his tongue out at her.
