One Month Later

Your legs ache, your head bangs, and your clothes are covered in blood, dirt, and sweat.

Your wrists are tightly binded together as you are basically dragged by a Grounder on a horse.

You have two guys with you.
One you know. Finn.

Then the other guy falls to the ground.

The grounder angrily gets up and immediately kills him.

Your heart beats fast at what you've witnessed in the past day and a half.

You just want Alec.
Is that so much to ask?

Your mind is stirred back to the grounder as he pulls something from his coat and hands it to you.

Water.

You thirstily drink but save enough for Finn.

"Thank you." You sigh, as the liquid cools you down.

After Finn finishes, he wrenches it back and hops on the horse.

You keep walking.

And suddenly Bellamy protrudes out from the bushes with a knife.

He pauses and looks around, searching for something.

The Grounder easily chains him up and adds him to the bunch.

As you three walk on, Monroe and Miller jump out at him and manage to distract him while Finn and Bellamy kill him.

Finn unties your wrists and you untie his.

You five decide to split up and look for the others.

You go with Finn and along the way, find Murphy.

Murphy runs to you and meets you with a tight hug full of love.

"Hey stranger." You smile to him happily but not entirely.

"Hey." He smiles down to you.

"Here. Let's go." Finn passes Murphy and gun and finds a village.

You enter, and then leave.
After Finn had massacred them.

The walk is silent and Murphy protectively keeps his arm around you, keeping distance from Finn.

"Finn..." You start carefully, John eyes you.

"We'll find her." You add with a smile and Finn nods, his hands shakey.

The walk is silent except for Johns assuring whispers of Alec.

"He'll be fine."

"You'll find him."

He kept saying.

But in your gut you had the strangest feeling.

You shrugged it off as you walked.

It got dark and you found a small cave and decided to rest there.

Finn stayed up the entire night and you and John slept.

When you woke up, you met John's eyes from across the small fire where he slept, staring back.

"Were you watching me?" You raise a brow humorously.

"No." He winks and Finn calls you both.

"Daybreak. Let's go." Finn orders and Murphy frowns and you get up tiredly.
