Monty--- Love Is❤

Harper had done so many terrible, unjustifiable things to Monty.
Such as giving up on him.
Time after time.
She's broken your best friend's heart.
Time after time.
And yet he forgives her for it.
Everything.
He forgives her.

You know it really isn't your business but it's so stupid and frankly, annoying.

So you decide to ask.

"Hey, Monty?" You stop him in the hall, probably headed to find her to say sorry for something he didn't do wrong or something.

He pivots on his heels and looks to you, smiling slightly.
"Hi."

"Hey, um, I've just been really curious, and you're my best friend so I feel entitled to ask." You step up to him and scratch your eye brow curiously.

"Yeah?" He raises an amused brow.

"Yeah. I was just wondering... So, you and Harper have been off and on a million times,"

"Well I wouldn't say a million but—"

"A million times." You cut him short and eye him slightly. "And I want to know why every time she does something stupid, you shrug it off and run back to her?"

He sucks in a breath to think about that for a moment.

"Um, well, I guess you know you really love someone when you don't hate them for breaking your heart anymore." He says and smiles slightly.

"That's sweet... I just hate seeing you going back and forth with her." You shrug.

"Thanks for looking out... Is that it?" He smiles.

"Yeah... Oh, say hi to Harper for me." You say and he nods before continuing on down the hall.

You release a sigh when he's gone.
