Chloe had fallen asleep on my couch after her small breakdown, signalling all the other girls to head out. After they'd left, one thought kept lingering the outskirts of my mind. What could Kendall possibly do to Chloe, the baddest and coldest of the group? I had started to doze off myself when I heard Chloe stir.

"No! Kendall, stop! You can't do this to me! Stop!" She woke up, panting. "Oh my God."

           "Chloe, are you okay?"

"Oh, gosh. Yeah, I think I'm alright." She rubbed her forehead. "Although, my head is pounding. Do you by any chance have an Advil or something?"

"Yeah. I'll be right back." I left the chocolate-haired, piercing-eyed 'primadonna' and went to get her an Advil.

When I came back, she was still in the position I left her, broken. "Here, Chloe."

She looked up and a soft smile curved her small lips. "Thanks, Kalani."

I handed her the little pill and glass of water and watched her down the pill, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "That was much needed. Thank you." She sighed. She stood up, heading towards my bathroom, when her eyes began to flutter shut. A thud was heard as her frail body hit the floor.

"Oh my- Chloe!" I ran up to her, checking if she's breathing, then checked her pulse. She was breathing, and her pulse was fine. I grabbed the cup of water that she had drank from and poured it on her face, causing her to gasp and wake up, coughing.

"W-wh- did I faint?" She said, breathing heavily.

"I mean, I guess. I'm pretty sure you didn't die and come back to life." My panicked facial expression still not leaving my face.

She wiped some water of her face, the water leaking down her face, falling off her chin, she chuckled slightly.

"Let me get you a towel for that," I laughed and headed to my bathroom, grabbing a towel from under the sink. "Here, Chloe, catch." I tossed it, and she effortlessly caught it.

She grabbed her phone, her facial expression dropping. "Oh my God, Kalani, you really need to see this."

The clip showed Maddie being recorded on a security camera, inside the jail. One of her hands were handcuffed to the chair she was sitting on, and her free hand was playing chess with another cell mate. Maddie made a wrong move, and the cell mate laughed in her face, causing Maddie to go red. Using her free hand, she stood up and flipped the table over, all the chess pieces flying across the room. She broke of the leg of her chair and began beating the other woman with it.

"Oh my God..." I covered my mouth, my jaw dropping. I winced slightly as she continued, the woman becoming more and more bloody. Cops rushed in and Maddie stopped and screamed at them, throwing the leg of the chair at one of the male officers, just missing slightly. They grabbed her and pinned her down, the officers beating her. She squirmed under their strong grasp and after a terrible beating, completely stopped moving, blood everywhere.

I hadn't noticed the stream of tears running down my face and realized I wasn't the only one crying. Chloe had the towel pressed to her mouth, covering the lower half of her face, crying.

"This is heartbreaking." Chloe said, wiping her tears. "She's dead. Maddie's dead."
