I woke up, heart pounding and in a cold sweat. Thomas moved, waking up. He yawned and, concerned, wrapped his arms around my waist. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
I gulped and nodded. The worst part was that it wasn't a nightmare, it was real. A flashback on reality. I took a deep breath and hugged him tightly. "I only have you. I only have you and now I don't know what we're going to do."
Thomas hugged me back. "We take things slow. We really need professional help, but I don't know where to go." Thomas sighed heavily into my neck.
"We can't take things slow Thomas. My mother is missing, most likely dead, and my brother...I don't even know where my brother is or if he's hurt...Thomas I can't go on like this." I said, voice cracking. Tears slowly slipped out, and Thomas wiped them away. He placed a kiss on my cheek and whispered, "It will be OK."
I nodded. I believed him. If Thomas said it, it was true.
"So we have no way of tracking this guy. The cops are more than likely dead, and my phone is still missing. We are at a dead end."
"But we can't give up." He stated.
"Right. So, our best bet is to go back to the scene of the crime and find what we can."
Thomas smiled, nodding. "God, your so smart." He said wistfully. I smirked a little. "I know. But you are better than I am. Can you do me a favor and call-"
I was cut off by Logan, who was now at the end of the bed and right next to us, looking at me. "Hmm?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. I was equally as confused.
"What can I-can I call him now too?" I asked Thomas. He shrugged. "I guess." I sighed and shook my head. "Okay. Well, Logic, we'll need you." He rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Obviously."
"But we will also need-"
"Hello!" Patton said brightly, appearing on my other side. I nodded. "Right. So we have Holmes and Watson. We're all set. Good." Patton giggled. "It'll be just like our old dates!" Logan smiled but scoffed. Thomas shook his head at the two. "Honestly..."
"Okay! Get dressed everyone, we need everyone at their best today."

I was feeling good. We had found my phone, still (mostly) in tact, thank goodness. I found the tire tracks and took a picture. Logan was observing the rubble of the police building, looking for helpful equipment. Patton was having fun looking around the neighborhood with a spyglass, looking for where the truck went.
"Look at that building!" Logan shouted. I spun around from my position above the tracks to follow Logans finger. There was a tiny building, badly tattered but still together, hidden behind the rubble of the police department. Perhaps a safe house.
I nodded at Logan. "Good work again, Mr. Holmes!" I complimented him, grabbing Thomas by the arm and dragging him to the building. The door had a passcode on it. I sighed helplessly to myself. "Logan?" I asked politely. He sighed but nodded, getting to work on it.
Patton showed up 5 minutes later, defeated. "I couldn't find anything, Holmes." Logan grunted in response. "Hey guys." Patton said with a small smile. He tilted his head. "What's Logan doing?" Thomas shrugged. "He's working on the lock."
Patton giggled. "Lemme try!" He said, skipping over the rubble to Logan, who didn't move. "No offense Patton, but this isn't up your alley." Patton shook his head. "Nonsense. Let me try once. Please?" Patton begged, pouting. Logan sighed. "Fine."
Patton smiled and hugged him. Then he went to the keypad, punched in 2-6-7, and the door popped open, then dropped off its hinges. My jaw dropped. Thomas tilted his head, eyes wide. Logan was sputtering, "H-how...what..."
Patton laughed light-heartedly. "It's COP in numbers!" Logan groaned and threw his hands in the air. He shook his head. "Nicely done Watson."
We walked in the tiny room. It was equipped with food, weapons, and a computer...with the police database on it.
"Nice." Logan said, nodding towards the computer. Thomas looked around, then came back to me. I was running my hand across the cans of food. None of them were appealing, however.
"I think we have a good chance of finding your family." He stated. I smiled back at him. "I know we do." I hugged him. He hugged me back, and when we pulled away, we walked over to Logan.
"Reckon you can work the computer?" I asked him. He rolled his eyes. "Like you had to ask." He sat down on the chair, and his fingers went to work.
I plugged my phone into the computer, and Logan uploaded the tire track photos. He sent in a few more commands, and then a series of documents pulled up. Logan set his sights on one, then opened it. "Here. This is the truck, and it's registry. There's an address to."
"We struck gold!" I exclaimed, high-fiving everyone. We printed it out, then left.

We had pulled up to a familiar building. Familiar to me, at least. It was small and quaint, and I didn't see the truck anywhere. There was a car, however, so that meant someone was here. I gulped, then nodded at Thomas. "Come with me?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. "Duh."
We went hand-in-hand up to the door. The printed paper was in my pocket. When the door opened, I gasped in surprise.
"D-Dad?!" I exclaimed. He still had the same terrifying look, and the cold feeling was still in the air. "What do you want?" He asked harshly.
I gulped. I was angry, beyond it really-because I was right-, but I kept my posture. "Do you own a truck?" I asked simply. He glared. "Why are you asking a stupid and pointless question like that?"
"You know why, asshole." I said. "Answer the damn question." Thomas squeezed my hand. I moved closer to him. I had never cursed at my father, and I was very scared.
"Not with that tone. I am not answering your fucking question, brat!" He barked. "Your still as annoying as I remember." He hissed out. I clenched my jaw.
I would not stand for this.
"Where is my mother?! WHERE IS MY BROTHER?!" I screamed. I saw my father take a step back. Then a cold smirk formed. "Oh, so that is what this is about. Okay then. I figured: which is why I brought this." He whipped out a gun, and with a single shot, Thomas dropped to the floor.
"THOMAS!" I shrieked. I tried to see the damage done, but suddenly, pain struck and I fell once again.
A/N: Not so lovely, this chapter. I know I probably screwed up somewhere in there again. Anyway, have you been seeing Thomas' tweets lately? I swear he keeps making me fall in love with him.
Q: What is your costume for Halloween?
