(Cloudracer's PoV)

Cloudracer's eyes flickered open just the tiniest bit to see red and orange flames licking at the deck of a boat. Her scales were burning from the heat and she could feel her wing membranes slowly burning away. Then, her head jerked sideways at the sound of the soft clanking of metal. Through the smoke and her streaming and blurry eyes she could just make out the dark figure of a human.

She was intently trying pick a lock of some sort and it was only then that Cloudracer realized that she was the one wrapped in chains. Immediately, she scrambled at the wood and pushed herself to her feet, but she only managed a crouch as her legs felt heavier then they really were. The floor seemed to be swirling and tilting before her eyes and now she could only tell that she was surrounded by flames and there was a Viking by her.

There was suddenly a quiet but loud enough click to tell her that the lock had been broken and the chains fell off of her in a heap. She turned towards the viking who had saved her and she realized that it was the blond haired girl. Her mind flickered back to when they had seemed so alike and as much as she wanted to leave right away without her, Cloudracer knew that she couldn't. so, she grabbed the girl with an irritated growl and threw her onto her back and flapped her heavy wings.

It was harder to fly then normal from the extra weight on her back, her singed wings, and whatever poison she had been inflicted with. She was finally in the sky when she felt herself fall a short way but she caught herself. She could barely see in front of her as everything seemed to be moving in a spiral and the edges of her vision began to fade into a dark red color.

She could feel herself dipping down as her wings could barely move anymore and she crashed down onto solid ground. She stumbled a few steps forward until collapsing on the ground, dimly aware of the ocean swishing onto her tail, as her vision drained of all color and was lost in darkness once more.

----- a couple days later ----

Cloudracer awoke with a jolt as a loud roar erupted from the strange place she was in. The ground was hard, almost like stone, under her talons and by the smell and sound of it she could tell that there were many other dragons here. Around her rose large wooden walls and a barred wall was in front of her. There seemed to be a bit of brown straw in some corners.

She stood up from her spot and was surprised to find that her legs weren't shaking. But the surprise ebbed away as her piercing cold gaze snapped back towards the greenish metal barred wall. She was spilling over the brim with rage and she launched herself at the bars and in the same moment let a violet plasma blast escape her mouth, but to her surprise, it's state didn't change one bit. She snarled to herself and tugged at it with her teeth.

After that didn't work her turned towards the wooden walls, but they to were covered in the shiny green substance. "It's dragon proof metal, no getting outa here." Cloudracer swirled around and glared at a group of young vikings, all standing in a cluster around the barred part of the room. The leader was unmistakable, with wild auburn hair and an old scar by his jaw. He stood with authority yet had a somewhat friendly smile on his face. Beside him was the girl from the fire and behind her were two scraggly teens that seemed to be related to her. And to the right if the leader was a muscular blond girl with blue eyes.

She stared at them with her eyes slitted and her jaws partly open, her teeth retracted. "Well, looks like someone hates hiccup. Let me and Ruff handle this. We know everything about training wild beasts like this. Though.. this wouldn't be the hardest dragon we've tackled before, right my dear sister?" One of the blond haired and rough looking teens declared with a point of his finger to the sky. "You got that right, bro! Leave this to the masters!" The other one agreed. After that, the younger girl from the fire was about to talk but the leader of the group cut her off,"Oh my- guys, just, please, just don't ok? It's hard enough as it is!" He said commandingly.

Then he began to come closer to the bars, his hands out stretched. She was almost mesmerized by his gesture but her mind turned around and she shook her head fiercely. With a snarl she snapped at his hands but he got them out of the way just in time. The fierce girl beside him raised her axe with half a battle cry. "Astrid.." said the leader simply. His voice was surprisingly calm despite her attack and he turned his back to her. "Everybody, just leave the night fury alone." He ordered.

The three blonde vikings started whispering to eachother but The leader gave them a glare,"You got that? Ruff, Tuff, Puff?" He asked with an irritated expression. The older girl turned around,"oh.. uh.. yes SIR. We will NOT touch the dragon" she said with a humorous smile. "YES Hiccup, that is correct! No touching here!" The boy added, stifling a laugh but Hiccup just ignored them and turned back to Cloudracer. Astrid joined him and they both stared at her. The whole time she shot daggers from her eyes at them, but they didn't seem to notice.

Instead they started to mutter to eachother, whilst still staring at her. It made her uncomfortable but she knew she couldn't hide herself. "I always thought that Toothless was the last. And now i know that he isn't alone." Hiccup sighed. Astrid smiled for once this whole time. She was probably very protective of Hiccup and she might have been a little jumpy about her.

"What will we do with her?" She asked. Hiccup was thoughtful for a moment before answering,"this dragon's the last, i have a feeling. So it wouldn't make sense to leave her without a tribe for protection. We can train her to like humans, Toothless can show her it's not so bad. But we can't let her fend for herself, she clearly has been struggling. If we let her go she may die." He said sadly and with a last look him and Astrid left her in the depressing cage she was in.

After they left she trudged back to her corner, all hope lost. She would never escape and she probably wouldn't be stuck in this cell. She didn't know where she was being taken or by whom, but she did know that if the girl from the fire hadn't come and she hadn't have saved her, Cloudracer wouldn't have been here. She would be possibly free and without worries.

Her mind turned to the girl from the fire and anger enclosed on her once more. It's all her fault.
