The rest of the school day went by without any more real drama. A few odd looks from the snobs. No one in the school really likes me, so none of them really said anything. It's a rule we have here. If I don't like you and you don't like me, then we leave each other alone.

But that only works for the lesser snobs. For the ones that are only hanging out with the wrong people, who aren't truly snobs themselves.

And then you get to Rebecca and her posse. They don't follow any rules. But luckily I didn't come across any of them for the day. Austin must've tried his best to keep themselves outta my way.

Again I drove home by myself, the other girls were staying behind to help with the upcoming school dance. And of course, on my wave home Austins Red Jeep passed me, with Rebecca in the passenger. I rolled down my window and tooted my horn at them. I laughed as the both gave me sour looks.

Pulling into the driveway, I saw that mums yellow Ford Escort was parked in the driveway. She's home early today. Mum, the great Dr Anderson, works at Jacksonville Hospital. She's one of the lead surgeons there, having decades of knowledge behind her. She is only just passing 45, having worked as a surgeon for half that time.

I turned off the radio blasting out Selene Gomez, and hopped out the car. Mum was waiting in the kitchen for me. She didn't look happy either .

"Brooklyn Louise-" shoot when she brings out my middle name, that's a sign to run, "-please enlighten me as to why you were talking to a police man during school today? Principal Hoffman called and let me know."

"Oh...er...yeah about that," I start. I don't know how to tell her. Do I say the whole truth? Or the story I told the Constable? Neither.

"Austin tried to blame me for hitting his Jeep into a light post." That's all I needed to say, mum would let that slide.

"Is that it?" She asked, and I nodded back. She let out a nervous laugh, "by the way your principal was talking, it almost sounded if you killed someone."

Of course. Principal Hoffman, always being so over dramatic. I winked at mum. "What? I would never do that!" I said sarcastically. We had a little chat about school and work and then I said my goodbyes and went into my room.

Going down the hallway, I notice mum still has the photos of dad up on the wall. I mean, everyone else is there too; me, my brother Matt, mum, my grandparents and so on. But like, since dad left us, mum wasn't feeling too up herself, and I figured these photos of dad wouldn't help her move on.

I feel like it's almost my duty to take them off the all and stash them somewhere. So, that's exactly what I did. I only took the photos my dad was in by himself or with his parents, or with mum. But now the spaces look empty. I'll find some more photos for them later.

I continued down the hallway until I came to my door. My brothers room was down the hall, but he was never in it, being in the Navy and all. He wasn't home much. He spent most of the year away.

Dropping my bags at the door, I flop onto my bed. My big white fluffy blanket wrapped around me as a rolled around. I'm gonna give myself half an hour before cracking onto the small amount of homework I've got tonight.

I wriggled around and pulled my phone from my front jean pocket. Might spend a few minutes going through everything. Maybe there's some new gossip going around.

The next 25 minutes went by without much excitement. There was no new gossip, he didn't kiss her or she didn't get the new pair of shoes. All my social media was empty, no messages on Facebook, no funny snaps on Snapchat, no tags on Instagram. Now comes the emails.

There was only a few, mostly spam, and a few from the school. I forwarded those ones to mum, just in case she didn't see them. Oh and there was one from Rebecca Stone too. I opened it, and my jaw dropped.

Hey Everyone, Becca here.
There's been a change of plans for Saturday.
The following names are no longer on 'The List'
- Brooklyn Anderson
- Rose Butler
- Hannah Roberts
You girls need to be taught how to have a good time.
I'm sorry Nerdy Nicky, you're still on the list.
Thanks :) xx -Rebecca Stone

Two things are running haywire trough my mind.
1. Why are my friends and I on the list?
2. What is Rebecca Stone up to?

I have a bad feeling for Saturday.
