READ MY GODDAMN BOOKS GUYS CMON! I'm sad :( it's been a week and no ones even touched this chapter, cmon people you're making me sadddddddd please read, it won't bite.

During the car ride to the school, all I could think about was the plan Hugo came up with earlier that week. It was cruel, I had to admit. Public humiliation. Maybe Austin didn't deserve what was headed his way.

I didn't even know what Rebecce and Austin had in store for me. I was on constant watch, I had to make sure Austin took me straight to the dance.

I could only imagine that Austin was playing in his version of events of the night to come in his head as he drove me to the school. We didn't do much talking the entire way there, unless he was trying to communicate telepathically with me. In which case, i didn't receive any interal message.

Shawn Mendez was playing on the radio. Stitches. It seemed pretty fitting for spot we were in. The lyrics spoke to me on a personal level at the time.

Ten minutes of silence later, Austin pulled his Jeep into a parking spot 100 metres from the school. We got there pretty late, the dance was just begininng, so there weren't any parking spots closer to the school.

Austin hopped out of the car first and rushed around the side to open my door for me. He was really playing a role here.

"Shall we?" He asked, and held a hand out for me to hold.

I took his hand and, graciously i have to admit, hopped out of the car. He held his arm out, in a clear gesture that he wanted me to hold it. Reluctantly i took it, and arms hooked he walked me to the entrance of the school.

We passed several couples standing out the front on the way, who all turned to look at us. It must have been that clear that we were a weird "couple". Even though we definitely weren't really a couple.

I saw Rebecca standing in the car park with another guy, who unfortunately had his back to me. It didn't matter who he was, he was probably in on whatever was going to go.

Austin led me through the swinging doors of the school, and down the hallway into the performing arts centre. After we had left the PAC the other day, the rest of the setting up team had done an awesome job.

Austin held open the door for me, and I politely walked through. As we walked into the performing arts centre, I took in what the team had actually done to fix it up. There was a stage down the far side of the room, who seemed to be testing their instruments and for the time being there was soft music playing over the loud speakers.

All around the sides of the room were tables filled with goodies of all kinds. There were drink tables, definitely no alcohol of course - although I wouldn't put it pass our year that someone had slipped some sort of spirit or what-not into one of the punches. Piles of food were plated on several separate tables, sweets and savoury.

The middle of the room was turned into a dance floor, and rainbow lights shot down from the ceiling above. They looked like little lasers chasing each other across the floor.

People were already milling about, some couples were standing around with others, some were getting drinks and food and some had already hit the dance floor. And of course there were the lonely boys and girls who sat on opposite ends of the room; the ones who came without a date.

I saw Rose sitting alone on a bench with a cup of punch in her hand. Her head was down and her hair fell over her face, covering any facial features. I was tempted to go over to her and make sure she was okay, but I suddenly got a text from Hannah.

Hannah: come to the bathroom! Immediately!

Me: why what's up?

Hannah: can't say now, tell you when you get here.

I put my phone back into my purse alongside the bags of goodies Hannah gave me earlier and turned to Austin.

"I'll be right back okay?" I said, "I just need to go to the toilet quickly."

"Yeah of course." He replied. "I'll get us a drink and be at in one of the drink tables when you come back."

"Got it." I hurried off towards the only bathroom in the arts centre.

Hannah was waiting in-front of one of the stalls and without a word grabbed me by the arm and pulled me in the stall.

"What's the matter?" I asked her.

Her voice seemed to be almost happy and sad at the same moment. "Wait, not yet. I don't think we can talk here. Where is Austin?"

"Over by the drinks table why?" I asked curiously.

"Good, Michael is over there too. We need to sneak off quickly."

Hannah stuck her head out of the bathroom and checked to see if we were clear and quickly pushed me out of the bathroom towards the side entrance of the PAC. She took me towards the closest classroom - which coincidentally was unlocked.

I sat down on one of the tables and Hannah sat opposite me.

"Now, let's try again. What's the matter?" I questioned.

Hannah paused before she answered. "I dont think we can go through with our plan."

"What? Why not?

"I heard from Michael that some of the popular boys are planning a senior prank. He didn't say what it was, he didnt want me to spoil it obviously. But i think if we go through with this, we might screw over their prank."

"Did you tell Michael what we were gonna do?" I asked her quickly.

"No of course not." She answered. "I excused myself straight away and texted you."

"Okay, well that's good I guess." The only good bit about that bit of information.

"What do you want to do?" Hannah asked.

I shrugged. "If you don't think it's a good idea to go through with it, then i guess we won't."

Hannah smiled. "Let's just hope the boys have something good planned."

SENIOR PRANKS YEAH BOY

Never actually like done a senior prank or anything and so far i have no idea how to accomplish one but lets role with it. What do you guys think? Should Brooklyn and Hannah still go through with 'their plan' even though the boys are planning a senior prank against everyone.
