The setting up and organising of the PAC took longer than expected for us. From the time I started helping, the were six volunteers. By the time lunch cake around, there were 16.

It wasn't just the cleaning and moving that we had done during the first half of the school day. Mr Kennedy had assured us that by the end of the next day, everything essential would be set up.

As Mr Kennedy let us out for lunch, I let a whoop of joy. I want going to help anymore, it's not like they really needed me anyway, 16 people is too many. There wasn't even much for them to do.

Instead after lunch, I would go to my classes and become extremely bored with the amount of work assigned to us for the day. The amount of work would be a single sides worksheet, completed in the first ten minutes.

"I'm not going back afterwards." I was telling Hannah and Rose as we were walking to lunch.

Hannah shook her head. "Me neither, I've had enough of moving tables and cleaning chairs."

I turned to Rose, who was silent during the entirety of our walk. "You coming to class with us? Or helping some more."

Rose looked up for the floor, with a small frown on her pale face. "I actually think I'm going to head home after lunch, not feeling too well."

As she said this her face pales even more, and she was looking as white as a ghost. She ran off in the opposite direction of the cafeteria, probably heading towards the nearest bathroom.

I grimaced and turned to Hannah, who had the same look on her face. "Hope she feels better soon."

Hannah nodded and agreed. "She's been like that a lot lately though. Anyway, let's go get lunch."

The rest of the week went something along the lines of this.

Nothing happened on Tuesday. Austin didn't try to make a mistake to talk to me, Rebecca didn't even glance in my direction twice, and was constantly on her phone. The whole day actually went by pretty smoothly.

Wednesday was a different story. Throughout the whole day, I could feel Rebecca's eyes digging into the back of my skull. But again, Austin never made a move. There was only two days until the dance, and if I wanted Hugo's plan to work, Austin would have to ask me to the dance. Rose was finally feeling better after skipping school yesterday.

When Thursday came along, Austin finally grew a pair and asked me to the dance. Of course I was still revolted by the action, but i needed to say yes for Hugo's plan to work. As he did it, I scanned the students around, looking for Rebecca, but I didn't see or hear a peep out of her.

Both Hannah and Rose skipped Friday, which was quite a surprise, when neither of my friends were in school that day. Austin was by my side throughout the entire day, and I tried my hardest to keep him happy and keep up my act. Rebecca was also nowhere to be seen, skipping the day just like my friends.

The dance was taking place at 7 o'clock tonight, and would run through until 11. So when i broke loose of Austin after school, I went straight home and flopped down on my bed. Which wasn't the best idea.

I was woken up at 5 o'clock by my phone ringing right under my pillow. I groaned and checked who it was, and saw 15 missed calls from Hannah and 1 from Rose. As I was about to answer the phone call Hannah was giving me right now, she cut the call.

I groaned again, this time louder, as there was a knock on my door and I yelled out, "come in!"

Hannah barged into the room, and my surprise was evident on my face. "Get up! We have to get ready!"

I pulled myself into a sitting position, crossing my legs. "What? H-how did you get in?"

Hanna turned to look at me and then dragged me off the bed. "Your mum let me in. Now get up!"

"Fiiiiine." I grumped at her, and stood up next to my bed. "Happy?"

Hannah shook her head. "No, not yet. Take a shower." She pushed me out of my bedroom and shut the door behind me.

Really? Hannah was taking over my getting ready. Although I wasn't even planning on getting ready yet, but I guess Hannah was just being a nice friend.

I turned the water on and let it heat up, as I got undressed and chucked my school clothes in a pile. The water was nice and warm when I got in. I didn't really want to keep Hannah waiting so I got in, did my stuff and got out. Drying myself within a minute and wrapping the towel around my body.

I stepped out of the bathroom and back into my room, where I find a pile of clothes on my bedroom floor, and Hannah is nowhere in sight.

As I walk further into my room, I was hit smack in the face with a stray flying t-shirt. I had found Hannah. She was digging through my closet, throwing clothes out left, right and centre. That explained the pile of clothes in the middle of my bedroom.

I sat down on the bed, away from her throwing. "Hannah? What in the world are you doing?" I asked her.

I saw her head poke out of a pile of clothes and she smiled. "Well, I'm trying to find a red dress for you, to match with Austins tie." She explained.

That would explain why all my clothes are everywhere. "Hannah I don't own a red-wait. Matching with Austins tie? I didn't know he was wearing red?" I said, confusion settling in.

Hannah blanked out for a minute. "I-uh...remember you told me after Austin asked you to the dance, that he said he was wearing a red tie. So obviously you have to match..." she said with a small smile.

"Uh...no I don't remember that," I told her slowly. "Hannah, he didn't tell me anything about what he was wearing."

She's was looking a bit nervous but she's my best friend so I can't take something as skeptical as this too seriously.

Hannah blushed slightly. "Oh-uh... Austin must of told me then." And she blew out a long breath.

I shook my head, getting rid of any thoughts of something was up and smiled. "Maybe. Now are we getting ready or what?"

This chapter has 1111 words. Isn't that cool? I reckon it is. That was an accident too.
