"The moment the words left her mouth it took a second for my brain to process. Then I did the only thing I could do. I broke into a fists of laughter
I couldn't help it, it's just so funny.
I guess you're all wondering why this is so funny right?. I'll tell you.
"Royal blue high school lives up to the name' Royal' only royalty go to that school. Royalty and important people, important people like the future alphas, the soon to be vampire lords, the future elders of the witches, and so much more!. They would never allow anyone else to go there. unless they're mates with one of the 'Royals' which in this case I'm not.
When I finally stopped laughing I looked around to see everyone looking at me seriously, which made me feel stupid.
Which I'm not!
"Oh you're serious?" I ask looking at my mum.
"Mum this is obviously a lie 'Royal blue high school' never gives out scholarships and not to mention this stupid excuse about a wand
competition!"I try to reason.
"This is obviously a joke or they're being controlled" I say looking for strings.
"My dear I assure you this is no joke"my principal answer trying to reassure me of the impossible
"Ok then, prove it."I say with a smirk on my face.
"Oh I'll prove it" the one with Brown eyes says and puts his hand in his pocket.
He brings out a phone and dials a number.
"Hello sir"he says to who ever is in the other line. "Yes sir...... yes but we have some problems with one of the contestant...... she doesn't believe us......Elizabeth Gray.....yeah sir
Ok sir" he hands me the phone. I hesitated but took it.
"Hello?"I says to who ever is on the line.
"Hello Elizabeth my dear"elder Elijah says with his thick British accent."how have you been my dear?" He asked like we're old friends
"I've been good sir and you?"I ask unable to believe I'm talking to an elder!.
"I've been good dear. I hear you're not able to believe what they're saying about the competition."he says.
"I.....I.."I couldn't find my word. I'm so stupid. I mean you would think I would have something better to say then freaking I!
"It's okay my dear, I wouldn't believe it if I were you, but my dear it is true, you have been one of the lucky ones to get this opportunity so I suggest you take it my dear, it only comes once a life time." he says with his sexy voice... what? You can't blame me for thinking his voice is sexy ok? I'm the one talking to him so I get to say if it's sexy or not so deal with it!
"Yes sir"I answered.
"You can call me Elijah and I hope there will be no more problems?"he asked.
"Of course not sir.. I mean Elijah." I answer with a smile. And I hear him laugh. His laugh like music to my ears. Elizabeth focus! This is a married man you're talking about here!.
"You can hand joe the phone now" he asked and I hand the one with Brown eyes which I'm guessing is Joe the phone.
"Yes sir... " he answers and he ends the call. I wondered why i get to call him Elijah and he calls him sir.
"Ok now that the problem is solved can we begin?" My principal asks.
"Yes sir."
