*Lyon's POV*

When the group of mages left after the healer's words, Gray was the one who stayed behind. He told me that I should join a guild to find a new goal. As he walked away I couldn't help but wonder what guild the healer was in since she possessed no obvious guild mark. That's when my thoughts wandered back to before Deliora crumbled. He had been so close to striking Natsu when the healer pushed him out of the way and the demon seemed to back off. I wondered if she had some type of sway over the beast that had made him halt his attack, and if she did I wondered what it was.

*Reader's POV*

We arrived back at the village which had surprisingly been rebuilt. Erza began asking questions about the moon, and asked why they had never left the village. The moment she combined what I had told her and what the villagers had said she immediately requipped into a different suit of armor and told Natsu to use his fire to increase the velocity of her spear when she threw it. Her plan works as it ends up breaking th dome that had crystalized over the island from the Moon Drip ritual.

When the dome shattered the villagers didn't return to normal. I gave a soft smile when Erza revealed that being a demon was their true form, and that the Moon Drip's magic had affected their memory. When they failed to recover their memory I offered to make something that could help them. Immediately they agreed and after searching through the multiple ingredients they had, I discovered a Memberry bush. A memberry was a pink strawberry shaped fruit with multiple yellow spots.

It helped certain ailments and in small amounts were wonderful for restoring memory. I was given a medium sized wooden bowl which I filled with the exotic colored fruit and was given enough room to do what I did best. Near the fire I place two large rectanglish shaped stones with a smaller squarish stone in the middle, all three of them being relatively flat. As I created the dough I needed for the turnovers, I had Natsu stoking the fire, while Erza mashed the berries. Then I had Lucy stirring a pot of slow melting sugar, and Gray grinding up dried blueberries and lavender.

They watched in fascination as I placed the jelly like memberries inside each turnover and added just a dash of lavender to each one. Then I folded them over and let them bake as I added the left over lavender, blueberry mixture into the pot of sugar. When the turnovers were done I drizzled the glaze on each one and then sprinkled a bit of crushed mint leaves on top. I handed out the turnovers and said "Eat Up." When the mages hesitated I explained "The memberries only help restore forgotten memories, so their safe." Soon after the villagers slowly began to regain their memories, and began to celebrate the return of the Chief's son with a feast.

After the feast I tended to the groups wounds and after I was done bandaging them I left the shelter they were given. I followed a moonlit path that lead to the sea and on a leaning up against a rock was Lyon. His spiky bluish hair glinted in the moonlight. I walked up and stood at his side and watched the crashing waves in silence. "Sherry told me that after the fight with Lucy you patched her up" he stated. "I did" I agreed. "Why?" he asked.

I turned to face him and said "As a healer all life is considered precious, and it's my duty to heal and protect those that are sick or injured. No matter whose on what side, you and your followers are not an exception." He fell silent for a few moments and asked "So what guild do you belong to?" With a laugh I teased "Why do you want to know? Thinking of joining a guild?" He scoffed and said "I just wanted to know, since I don't see an obvious guild mark."

With a smile and a shake of my head I said "I don't belong to any certain guild. I answer any guild who calls for me." "Even if it's a dark guild" he asked. "It's not my right to judge those who follow a certain lifestyle. So if a dark guild calls I'll answer" I replied. Once more he fell silent before I asked "Now what would you prefer? A Spiceberry strudel with a rosemary mint glaze, or Lemon with a dash of lavender and thyme?" "What?" he asked startled.

"In my experience most herbal remedies taste better when baked into a dessert. It also doesn't hurt that it works faster when consumed, or that the children I occasionally tend to forget that the dessert's I make contain medicine" I explained. "And as a healer you've developed the habit of carrying pastries in your bag?" he asked. I smiled and said "Considering that you're an Ice-Make mage that has a habit of stripping at inappropriate moments, I'm glad you understand that in my line of work it never hurts to be prepared."

After a few moments he asked "You told me earlier that life is a series of goals to complete, what's yours?" "My goal is to heal and protect everyone around me" I replied. Once again we fell quiet, I turned to say goodbye but started laughing when I saw that Lyon had unknowingly discarded both the tunic and shirt he wore. He gave me a confused look only to look down at himself and curse. When I finally stopped he had already found the clothes he had discarded and was scowling at me.

I sighed after regaining my breath and said "You know I might be able to concoct something that'll help you get rid of that habit." He raised a brow and said "And what did Gray think of that?" I smiled and said "He turned me down when I told him that as a healer I had to confess that there was a major chance that the concoction would work to well and that he might not be able to take a bath without getting sick at the thought of undressing." He gave me a small smile and said "Then I'm afraid that I'm going to have to turn down your offer as well." I gave a small chuckle in return before telling him goodnight and headed back to the village. The next day the mages wanted me to come back with them but I had to refuse since I needed to stay behind and take care of a little demon boy that had gotten sick earlier that morning.

They asked if they could visit me when I returned and with a smile I told them that I lived in the East Forest.
