*3rd Person POV*

Lucy was the first to wake up and notice the snowy white owl perched on the window. The other's woke up soon after and asked Moka about the bird. When it was discovered that neither could explain the bird or the reason for it's sudden appearance the mages left to explore the island.

*Reader's POV*

I woke up around nightfall and realized that the mages had left and been gone since early morning. After a quick scavenge I began to look for them. There was the sound of a battle going on and I quickly flew towards the sound. The moment I arrived the sounds abruptly stopped. I came across the black haired mage unconscious and severely wounded. Quickly I returned to normal and reached into the small bag I wore. Using the surrounding herbs I began to treat and bandage the wounds.

It wasn't long after I secured the last bandage that I heard someone approaching. I quickly activated Ice-Make: Owl and flew into a nearby tree. As I hid in the branches I saw the pink haired mage frozen in ice come to the top of the temple and pick up the semi-awakened mage I had tended to. Then he began to take him back to village, and I followed as close as I could. The mage that was being carried mumbled something to the companion that carried him only for his companion to shout at him. Soon after arriving the village was attacked by the giant mouse that I had seen the other night with a large bucket filled with some kind of substance.

I created an Ice-Make: Dome protecting the villagers that were huddled in the center as the pink haired mage used his fire to eliminate the attack. I deactivated the spell as the villagers began to evacuate as I closely followed the mouse only to witness it crashing into the beach. Both the female blonde and pink haired mage began to battle it out. As I watched it was revealed that the pink haired female possessed Doll Attack, which allowed her to take over anything except humans. The fight progressed until the blonde summoned a Celestial Being named Aquarius who ended up attacking both mages.

A slap fight ensued with the blonde winning only for the mouse to prepare to jump in. The blonde was saved by a redheaded woman that wore a blue skirt with an armored top. Afterwards the redhead took both the blonde and the blue cat that had just arrived back to the village. When she was gone I carefully flew to the unconscious woman's side and transformed so I could start treating the lacerations she received from Aquarius when she woke up. I carefully helped her sit up as she started crying.

As she sobbed she mentioned that she failed to redeem herself to her love. I reached into my bag and pulled out a moon shaped turnover and held it out to her. I gave her a smile and said "It's a turnover filled with wild strawberry filling with a dash of peppermint. It'll help with the dizziness and the upset tummy." She carefully took it and ate it quietly as I continued to look over her lacerations. "From what I've seen, love isn't about proving yourself, it's an emotion based on the person's heart and soul. Love is pure and bright, and freely given without expecting something in return. If you love someone because you expect love in return, love wont be the thing you get back, it doesn't work like that. Before loving someone else you have to love yourself first. That's what I believe" I said softly as I stood to leave.

I turned when she asked "What's your name?" I looked back at her and said "My name's Y/N." She gave me a smile and said "Mine's Sherry." I returned the smile before transforming and heading back towards the village. I hunted on the way and when I finally arrived I heard arguing. Through a crack in one of the tent flaps I saw the redhead arguing with the black haired mage about finding a guy name Natsu and returning to the guild. When he protested and said he was going to stay she threatened him with the sword she carried.

I darted into the tent and to their astonishment inserted myself between him and the sword as I shifted back to my normal form. I shot her a glare as I said "You will remove your sword mage. I don't care who you are, but I will not allow you to hinder my patient's healing." She eyed me before saying "I assume that you're the healer Gramps sent ahead of me." I nodded and she removed her sword. "I'm sorry for all the trouble my guild-mates have caused, but as soon as I find Natsu we'll be heading back to the guild. My name's Erza" she said.

I tilted my head and said "Y/N nice to meet you. However the stripper's correct about staying and helping the villagers. The group at the temple are using a process called Moon Drip to release the demon Deliora. Deliora is an immortal demon created by Zeref, made with an appetite for destruction and death. If he's released we're all in danger, and we'll have an even bigger problem to deal with than just a stolen mission. I'd rather the world didn't end by a single man with deadly ambitions. We can end this before it even begins, and yet you want to turn your back because of a stolen request? What kind of mage are you if you are willing to turn your back on those who obviously need your help?"

The others held their breath at my words and Erza met my gaze before saying "You don't seem to be frightened of me." I crossed my arms and said "There are things out in the world that are scarier than you, and one of those is nearby." "I can see why Porlyusia likes your so much, your not one to mince words when it comes to speaking your mind" she stated. I shrugged and said "In my line of work I don't have time for any lengthy explanations when more productive things could be done instead, so I've learned to get straight to the point, especially since sugar coating my words only ends up leading to confusion."

"Tell me what you know about the Moon Drip" she stated as she sat back down. "Moon Drip is a spell that requires the use of moonlight. It can practically deactivate any spell, even an impenetrable spell like Iced Shell. When I discovered Deliora, I felt a small thin shred of life. I'm not sure exactly if it was from Deliora himself or the ice that surrounds him" I answered. She was silent after my reply then finally said "We'll stay and help the village, but Lucy, Gray, and Natsu aren't off the hook."

I raised a brow and said "I didn't say they weren't, I just said that I agreed with the stripper about staying." "Hey the stripper's got a name and its Gray" he stated. I looked at him over my shoulder and said "No really? I thought it was Lucy, please don't insult my intelligence. I'm perfectly capable of determining who is who." He glared at me and Erza asked "You have a plan?" I shook my head and said "I'm a healer and the type of magic I use wouldn't be of any use to you even if I did have a plan. It's up to you to stop them, I'm only here to make sure each of you arrive back to Fairy Tail safely."
