*Reader's POV*

I was rubbing at the tense muscles in my shoulders when I looked up out the window and saw the large robot. Then off to the side I noticed a figure falling towards the ground. Immediately I called to the owl and burst through the open window. I instinctively knew that I'd never arrive in time in this form. So I called to the magic within me and summoned an Ice-Make: Dragon, and changed forms in midflight.

The switch was painless and fast but was slightly disorienting switching from a smaller form to a larger one. Once I got my barring's I flew faster towards the figure. When I was close enough I dove forward and shifted back to my original form and caught the girl by her waist. As we summersaulted in the air towards the ground I held her tightly against my body as I summoned Ice-Make: Cocoon. It wasn't long before we were surrounded by smooth flawless ice, which remained unbroken when we hit the ground and rolled across the ground.

When we finally stopped rolling the both of us were wrapped around each other in a tangle of limbs. I pushed several long azure strands out of my face as I carefully removed my body out from under hers, and rolled the unconscious girl on her back to check to see if she remained unharmed from the fall. She had long azure hair that had at one point been tightly curled but the curls were in disarray from the fall. Her sapphire blue coat, with navy blue shawl with cream colored trimming remained free of any blood, while the small pure white teru-teru bōzu doll set off the color of her snowy colored complexion.

A matching Russian Cossack hat rested at her feet. After looking over the girl I did a mental checklist of my own body. The moment I was done her lids fluttered open to reveal slightly dazed midnight blue eyes. When her gaze landed on me I immediately explained what happened, what I had done and who I was. The moment she told me that her name was Juvia Lockser I deactivated the spell and was immediately drenched by the rain. I carefully helped her sit up, and handed her back her hat. She looked up at the rain with a depressed look and said "Juvia doesn't like the rain. Juvia misses the sun."

I blinked at her use of herself in 3rd person but asked "Why don't you like the rain?" She wrapped her arms around her knees and said "The rain always follows Juvia. Makes Juvia sad and alone." I placed a hand on her shoulder and said "You should never let others make you feel sad about the gift you've been given. The sun maybe beautiful, but so is the rain. The rain is a gift sent from above to nourish the world and those within it. It was sent to wash away the sins of the world, and to give us all a chance for a new beginning."

I gave her a small smile as I carefully straightened the teru-teru bōzu on her shawl. I cupped the doll in my hand as I continued "It allows us to gain forgiveness for the things we've done, and the things we will do. You may crave the sun's warmth and the light it brings, but I will always crave the rain and the sense of new beginnings it brings. Because of this I wish it'd rain like this all the time." At the exact moment she gave me a small smile in return the ground shook as the giant robot collapsed.

*3rd Person POV*

The entire guild watched in horror at the Element 4 member falling towards her death only for a collective sigh of relief escaped when she was caught by none other than Y/N after returning to her normal form from that of a snowy white dragon. They watched in awe as Y/N immediately casted another spell as soon as she clutched the girl to her chest, with a speed and skill that astonished them. A cocoon of ice surrounded the two figures as they somersaulted through the air towards the ground.

Once again they were amazed when the cocoon hit the ground without a single crack marring its flawless surface. Soon the robot began to collapse and the guild cheered in victory only for an announcement to end with a familiar scream of pain. Immediately after a giant wave of Shades began to appear much to the exhausted member's displeasure. The battle continued as Fairy Tail slowly started to become overpowered by the sheer number of Shades, and the guild receiving enough heavy damage to end up collapsing.

As the members became even more exhausted they began to fall, one by one under the multiple waves of Shades being summoned. Only to watch in awe as the entire town of Magnolia slowly became surrounded by a flawless ice dome made of hexagonal pieces, protecting the town and it's occupants from the Shades.
