I opened my eyes. For the first time ever after yesterday’s events I was able to see the soft light peeking out of the closed curtains. I tilted my head. It was Han’s bedroom. I wasn’t able to neither move much nor talk. I was at least able to see. I rolled my eyes and realized that there was no point in trying to see anything. Maybe I should just sleep. Maybe it’ll help me. I just don’t get one thing. This has happened to me twice. So my question is what? What is this? It always starts with a cough and ends with me either paralyzed or passed out. The thing that makes my mind go even crazier is: Why did this start when I got to Korea? I know it might sound crazy, but it seems like that. I had perfect health back home, now, something’s terribly wrong. I heard the door open quietly. Someone, probably Han, sat on the bed and stroked my hair. I opened my eyes to see Han’s anxious face. When he met my eyes he smiled sadly.

“I can see you’re finally awake.” I invited him into the bed, he didn’t refuse and just laid beside me, while I put my head on his chest and closed my eyes.

“Uh-huh” I mumbled. “Did you sleep on the couch?” I didn’t want him to have any discomfort, just because I was sick.

“Yes, but I’m okay with that. So what’s wrong, Marley?” Either he likes my name or he constantly reminds me, so I don’t forget it.

“I don’t know. I can’t move my limbs, I feel like I’m slowly dying.” I mumbled in my sleep.

“We need to get you to the doctors. No way am I going to let you suffer or anything.” He started stroking my hair again.

“Just please don’t let them put me in a hospital.” I tilted my eyes and him and he nodded, when he saw my scared eyes.

“We’ll see…” He sighed “Are you going to sleep?” he asked, still stroking my hair. It felt good. Like if I was a kitty. I shook my head, but realized that I passed out again. Dang it.

I opened my eyes slowly, trying to focus. It felt like I’ve woke up from an ever-lasting nap. It actually was an ever-lasting nap, since I woke up when it was already so dark, I couldn’t see anymore. I felt someone hugging me, but had no idea who it is. Ugh. I hate not being able to move. Arm, lift! Now!

“Shiiiiiiiit!” frustration took over me and I wanted to kill my arm for not listening to me. “You’re the worst arm in the history of arms!” I yelled at her and felt how my companion’s – Can someone please tell me who he is?! - body started shaking, trying not to laugh loudly. The lights turned on as Mi-Cha ran in the room and jumped on the bed.
