Nice To Meet You

A/N: This is 3 weeks later.

I walk into the big house my sister owned.

"Hey kids" I say walking up to the couch where Colton and Addison were.

"Hi autie" Colton says.

"Hi auntie Kenzie" Addison smiles at me.

"Guys wanna go to the beach today?" I ask them.

"Yes!!" They both yell and run up the stair s to get their swimsuits.

I went up the stair and I go my new room to get my swimsuit on.

And than I put my coverup on.

And we were off.

About 15 minutes later we got to the beach and their weren't that many people here. Only a big crowd screaming and laughing.

I wondered a little but not a lot.

"Maybe it's a celeb" I say taking Colton and Addison's hands.

Than we walk up to the beach.

The kids that were in the middle of it were sprinting out of the crowd and towards Colton who was building a sand castle.

They charged and I ran to go save the little one.

The boys than stopped in their tracks and they all looked at me and Colton.

"Sorry" I smile moving out of their way.

The one kept staring at me. He had dark chocolatey eyes and curly dark hair and a nice jawline.

I walk backwards with Colton in my hands and I hear a loud shriek.

I look over and see Addison in the water without any super vision.

"Addy!" I yell and both me and the boy that I just explained sprinted towards Addison.

Of course the boy got there before me so he picked up young Addy and brought her to me.

"I'm sorry Addy" I say while he puts her down.

I hug her and Colton comes running towards us.

"So are these your kids?" The boy asked.

"What? No no these are my sisters kids" I say and pick up Colton.

"Oh well they're really lucky to have such a beautiful aunt.

"Thanks" I blush and smile.

"No problem" he smiles back.

Woah his smile is so bright and warming.

The two boys rush over and one of them trips over Colton's sand castle and they all laugh.

"Oh hey I'm Mikey by the way" the boy from before said to me laughing.

"This is Jake" he said pointing to the one that just fell.

"And this is Gavin" he says pointing to the tanner boy.

"I'm Mackenzie but you can call me Mack or Kenzie" I say holding out my hand for Mikey to shake.

He shakes my hand and smiles.

"It's nice to meet you" he smiles.

Colton looks over to his 'masterpiece' and he starts to cry.

"What's wrong Colty?" I ask him.

"Thith mean mean boy guy jutht wuined my thand cathle" he cries.

"Aww hey buddy I'll help you fix it" Mikey says with Jake pitching in too.

"Yeah cmon bud" Jake says gesturing Colton to go over there.

They started building the castle and me and Addy came and helped too.

After we were done Colton was happy again and I was happy too.

I met people that might actually wanna be friends with me.

"Uhm Mackenzie? Can I talk to you?" Mikey said walking backwards.

Jake looked at him and smiled mouthing something to him.

It kinda looked like 'cheeks' maybe he was talking g about my cheeks.

Was I blushing?

Mikey than blushed and shook his head.

"Sure Mikey" I said and he gestured me to follow him.

"Mackenzie I was just gonna say you're a really beautiful girl" Mikey said.

Mikey was looking you up and down and he saw them. Saw the scars that were forming on your body.

Burn marks.

Glass cuts.

Every single scar.

I looked away from him and his eyes filled with tears.

"Who did this to you?" He asked me.

"My dad" I sniffle and he hugs me.

"I'm so sorry Mackenzie" he cries.

"Me too" I cry into his shoulder.
