I kept my mind busy looking outside the window and at my phone the whole time. I had no idea where the Monkeys rehearsed so I didn't know if we were too close or too far. Alex was talking to Matt about their trip and stuff about their first album so I didn't want to interrupt.

''Please talk to me, I'm getting nervous here.'' I sent to our groupchat with Damon and Jules.

After a few seconds someone answered but at the same time, Alex turned around to talk to me.

''Babe,'' he called for my attention.

''Yeah?'' I said looking up at him with a small smile.

He coughed to clear out his voice. ''Uh... I have to warn you that Jamie and Nick have no idea about this, and they're pretty much finding out today.'' He said scratching his neck.

I smiled nervously. ''Are you fucking serious?''

''Well... Yeah... But I promise you they're gonna be nice, I-I swear.'' He said, caressing my knee lovingly.

I sighed, rubbing my face with both hands. ''Okay, sure.''

He smiled back. ''Great.''

He turned around and I pulled out my phone right away to check my messages.

''Shit, are you there already?'' Julian sent.

''I don't know what's happening.'' Sent Damon.

''I'm going to Alex's band practice and his fucking mates don't know about us and he's gonna tell them while I'm there!'' I sent quickly.

''I'm still in the car,'' I added.

I slipped my phone into my pocket and directed my gaze outside the window, taking a deep breath. I felt alone. What if they hate me? What if they react like Matt did? What if they treat me like garbage and Alex don't defend me?

That could happen, that was the first time we went through that situation.

''We're here baby,'' Alex said finally, unbuckling his belt when Matt pulled over.

I unbuckled too and so did Matt. I quickly opened the door and stepped out, gripping my backpack and my guitar that was hanging from my shoulders.

''Baby, leave that there. Matt can take you to your house later.''

I swallowed and looked at Matt, who was shaking his head behind Alex.

''I'd rather take the bus,'' I said. I'd actually rather die.

Alex smiled. ''Okay then, I'll take you home.''

Hand in hand, with Alex, we pressed the doorbell of the house. I had no idea who was the owner and I was too nervous to ask, maybe later-. It was very pretty, at least from the outside. It looked very homy and warm.

Matt was behind us and I could feel his bad energy hitting my back. It was so fucking annoying.

The door was abruptly opened and a smiley Nick appeared with a big smile, but his smile faded when he saw me.

''Hello... oh shit.'' He said nervously, bringing one hand to his hair.

''Nice one Nick.'' Said Alex, trying to walk past Nick and into the house.

''Wait, Alex-'' Said Nick grabbing Alex's arm. ''I would've told him to leave if I knew you were bringing the kid.'' He whispered, but I heard. I was already scared.

''Who're you talking about?'' Alex chuckled carelessly and walked inside, dragging me in as well.

We went to the livingroom and there was someone else there too. A very tall and fit lad sitting on the yellow sofa. He smiled when he saw Alex, but Alex was static.
