Right after Alex left that day, I went up to the appartment with my friends to clean up the mess. But once I was there I couldn't do anything but keep crying. Damon took me to Alex' room and said they would clean up and I should just rest, I nodded while slow tears ran down my face. I laid on the bed while shuffling noises came from outside.

Dames kept checking on me every few minutes. The first time he covered me with a fluffy blanket, the second time he brought me hot cocoa, and the third time he came to pick up the empty mug. The fourth time took him a while, I didn't know how much but I had stopped crying, now I was just cuddling air. I wondered if he had talked to me the other times but I just couldn't hear him.

''Dames?'' I whispered, still staring at the wall.

''Yeah, baby?'' He answered sitting on the bed behind me.

''I'm sorry I didn't help cleaning,'' I said turning around to face him.

''Don't worry, man, I told you to,'' Damon smiled nicely, right before Jules came in the room.

''Hey dude, how you feeling?'' He asked kindly.

''I don't know, I don't know how I'm supposed to feel.'' I sighed, playing with my fingers.

''I wish I could stay dude but I have rehearsal with the guys... I can cancel though.'' Julian said nicely, I loved him so much.

''No, no, go practice, you already did enough for me today,'' I genuinely smiled.

''Are you sure?'' He said raising one eyebrow.

''Yes, I don't want to bother you lads anymore,'' I shrugged.

''I'll stay with him, don't worry,'' Damon said to Julian.

''Dames-''

''Shut it, mate! I'm staying,'' Damon said sternly. ''I know you don't want to be alone.''

I sighed longly, I really didn't want to be alone so might as well shut up.

Julian hugged both of us and left, he probably took some vinys with him but I can't blame him. Alex had a lot of them.

''So...'' Damon started, ''...do you wanna drink?''

Two hours later we were pissed to the very core. Thanks to Alex thinking he was a cowboy he had a lot of tequila, and thankfully, lemons and salt too.

''Do you- do you remember...'' Damon said between laughs, ''Do you remember when Jules jumped from that roof into that pool?''

I laughed hysterically. ''You wanker, that was you!''

''Oh...'' Damon said and started laughing hysterically as well.

Slowly we both started to calm down, we had been over an hour talking about our best memories.

''I really hope we never stop being mates,'' I said, ruffling Damon's hair softly.

''We'll always be mates, no matter what,'' He said throwing his arm over my torso. We were both laying down on Alex' carpet in the living room.

''Can I ask you something?'' I said.

''Of course.''

''Are you dating that Hewlett guy?'' I asked turning my head to the side to look at him.

Damon chuckled. ''Don't you think I would've told you if I started dating someone?''

I shrugged.

''No,'' he said. ''I'm not dating him.''

''But do you like him?'' I insisted.

''Why do you wanna know?'' He smirked.

''I don't know, if you'd talk to me about that kinda stuff I wouldn't have to ask.''
