Qurantine Diaries- Part II
"We're talking away I don't know what I'm to say I'll say it anyway Today's another day to find you Shying away I'll be coming for your love, okay?

Sang Annabeth as she went about the room putting away the freshly washed laundry when suddenly something caught her eye.
It was Percy's diary, no his 'journal.' It was lying open on the desk, with his latest entry hurriedly scribbled onto it but left incomplete, why incomplete you ask?
Well because Percy was in the middle of baking a cake that he forgot about when he sat down with his diary. This consecutively led to him being alerted by the burning aroma and rushing to the kitchen to deal with the mess he made.
Annabeth couldn't help but smile at her doofus of a boyfriend. She was about to glance away from the book when she noticed the word 'baby.' She couldn't tear her confused gaze away from the page that was when Percy walked in.
"Okay there's good news, I saved the cake. It tastes a bit different than mom's but it's still yum- what happened? "
"I- were you talking about babies in your diary?"
"Well... hold on why were you reading my diary?"
"I wasn't, I just accidently glanced at it and the word caught my eye."
"Okay, I guess. And yes, I was talking about babies. To be more specific, our potential baby."
"We have a potential baby?!?"
"I mean yes, haven't you ever thought about it? I think we'd be great parents!"
Annabeth was astounded, she'd never spared a thought about this. Being a demigod wasn't easy, there were constant threats of monsters, conflict and annihilation, a baby just didn't fit into this mix.
"Look wise girl, I know exactly what you're thinking, a baby might make our lives more complex. But look at it from a different perspective it could add new meaning to our lives. We'd have a chance at being part of a family, a good nourishing family with a caring environment."
"Percy I get where you're coming from but never once in my life have I considered having a kid of my own. To express my self more clearly, I'd rather leave behind a thought than a child."
"Hehe, in your mother's case wouldn't it be both?"
"Percy-"
"Okay I'm sorry... it doesn't work that way with you too, or does it?"
"Perseus Jackson, I will kick your ass!"
Percy face paled as he darted out of her reach.
"I'm done... I'll stop!"
A smile escaped her lips as she said, "I don't know about me, but you could possibly make a great dad, you already have the terrible dad jokes covered."
"Annabeth, you have no idea what an amazing role model of a mom you'd be. Perhaps if we fast- forward a couple of years and have this conversation again, one of us has changed our mind and come to an agreement."
"Mhm, maybe. A college graduation and a stable life, well as stable as a demigod's life gets, might help change my mind. But for the time being we gotta agree to disagree."
"Fine by me. I'll practise my dad jokes, just in case, you know. But for now there's a burnt cake awaiting us."
