If Only I Could Tell Her

Chapter 1: Summer Break's over

As Summer Break ended, Andrew is now at 7th grade. He has just graduated recently last school year. As he was going to school a thought hit his head, how will I be able to stand being with Lilith again ?. This thought stayed with him until he finally arrived at school. When he arrived at his classroom door he started feeling anxious on how will his classmates treat him considering the fact that they haven't seen each other for months. The moment he stepped inside the class everyone's attention went to Andrew. The boys rushed to greet and welcome him. For they had missed Andrew. After everyone had settled down, Their new adviser named T.Alexander showed him where he is going to sit. As he was walking down to his seat he could see that Lilith's seat was just right beside him. He could sense Lilith's grief against him as he sat down. Then T.Alexander said "Ok class, I would like you to share what you did this summer". The class replied "Very well Teacher". Everyone then started sharing their experiences throughout summer. One shared their experience and said "The only thing that I did was eat,drink,play and sleep". The class then broke into laughter and they got too noisy that T.Alexander shouted and said "Class keep quiet!" Then the class went into deep silence. The next one up to share their experience was Andrew. Andrew shared " The things that I did this summer was go to a beach and experience the great sea, went on family trips, visited my grandparents but the best things that I did this summer was realizing my faults, asking forgiveness from God and accepting Jesus as my savior". Then one of Andrew's classmate Diego said "So you realized your fault for what you did to Lilith and you would like to ask forgiveness ?". After hearing this Lilith suddenly seemed sad and down. After seeing Lilith sad and down Andrew no longer answered Diego's question and just sat down. Then Diego said sorry to Lilith for not thinking before he spoke. The class just then continued telling their stories until the next class started. Lilith then was very sad and gloomy the entire day and Andrew just couldn't stop thinking " How will I really get redemption ?". Then at break time Andrew finally made a commitment to himself that at dismissal he will finally ask forgiveness from Lilith. As class was dismissed Andrew went to Lilith to finally say it, but as he was about to speak Lilith ran away from him and started crying. At this moment Andrew really was at doubt and then he went home. When he arrived at his house he went to his room and just spoke to God."God what can I do for Lilith to finally forgive me ?, for Lilith and I to finally become friends ?. Because I'm at great distress and doubt on how will I really get redemption. God I need your help please strengthen me always and the next time I try to do this no matter how much I fail please always help me to have perseverance and never stop doing what is right, In Jesus name I pray Amen". After he had prayed to God, he did his assignments, ate dinner and finally laid down at his bed. After a while Andrew went into a deep sleep and rested for the night.

The next day Andrew went to school earlier than yesterday. He found out that there was a special event happening today. It was their school's 15th anniversary. Everyone was celebrating, cheering and congratulating the school staff. At this day all students are also encouraged to explore the school campus and to just enjoy the whole time. So Andrew was with his best friend Thomas and they were talking about Lilith. Thomas said "Andrew this is the perfect moment to finally ask an apology from Lilith since we are free to enjoy the whole day for ourselves. Don't waste this chance that you are finally given to do it. This chance only happens once in a lifetime, Andrew please don't screw this chance up !". Andrew replied "Fine I will finally do it, I won't waste this chance. Thanks Thomas !". As he was walking by, he saw Lilith sitting down on the bench, looking at her phone and doing some scribbles in it. Then it popped it Andrew's mind that this was finally the chance that he was given. At this moment he knew that he really has to do it.
