Kylie's POV
As soon as I walked into the high school I felt all eyes go straight to the healing cut on the left side of my face. My glasses didn't even cover up some of it. My mom had made me take a whole bunch of vitamin D pills to make sure the cut didn't turn into a scar, I personally thought it would make me look even better, what else could make me look prettier then a huge two inch scar on the left side of my face by my eyes?
"Hey Kyle," somebody called from behind me, I turned and groaned out loud when I saw Jake jogging towards me, what did this jerk want now?
"Its Kylie," I mumbled, re-adjusting my backpack and continuing to walk down the hallway towards my locker with my English book in hand. Jake suddenly reached over and grabbed the book from my hand.
"This is pretty heavy, you should let me carry it," He said smirking, again with the smirk, it was seriously killing me. I rolled my eyes and tried to grab my book again but Jake held it over his head, way out of my reach.
"Hey guys look, I guess the ugly nerd finally got beat up," I heard one of the squealy voices of the cheerleaders laugh from behind me, followed by her posse of fake bitches. I lowered my head and started to walk a little bit faster when Jake grabbed my arm and pulled me back to the group of girls.
"Hey, I think you guys owe Kyle an apology!" Jake yelled really loudly, making everyone in the hall turn to look what was happening.
"Excuse me?" Annie, the head cheerleader, asked in her nasily voice that hurt my ears.
"Jake don't you'll just-" Jake pulled me halfway behind him, kinda like he was blocking me from their ice cold glares.
"You heard me, why do you have to say all that stuff?" Jake asked a little bit quieter, but still loud.
"Why are you sticking up for an ugly nerd like that?!" Jenna, another blonde cheerleader yelled up at Jake.
"Why do you have to be such a bitch?" Jake asked in an extremely calm voice.
"I've had enough of this, squad out," Annie said snapping her fingers and walking off, the whole team following after her with all their 6 inch heels clicking with each step.
"Why the hell did you do that? I'm going to be the laughing stock of the whole school!" I yelled as we started walking again, not missing all the glares I was getting from people all around.
"No you won't, look I have a preposition for you," Jake said leaning against the locker next to mine.
"Oh and what's that mister tough guy?!" I asked not looking up at him and opening my locker to throw my stuff in.
"I want to be your bodygaurd,"
"Excuse me?!" I yelled, was this guy for real? We've never even talked before and now he wants to protect me?! Bullshit.
"Ya, I think you could really use a bodyguard, you know someone to walk you to your classes and sit with you at lunch, Kyle I could help you."
"Its Kylie, and no I don't need a stupid bodyguard."
"Yes you do, please let me be your bodyguard,"
"Whats in it for you huh? What the hell do you get out of all this?!" I yelled slamming my locker. Jake smirked and moved closer to me, placing his hand on my hip and tracing little circles with his thumb. I had never been touched by a guy like this before, it shot tingles all through my body.
"Your body,"
