Jake's POV

As soon as I realized we were practically on top of each other with no one to stop us from doing what we both wanted to do so badly, so did Kylie. But thank goodness we both pulled away before we started anything. I wanted to kiss her more then anything but I couldn't, I don't trust myself right now.

"So what are we going to do now?" She asked huffing out a big breath as she fell back into her sleeping bag and turned to look at me. She really was beautiful. She was wearing her glasses today, I couldn't blame her, contacts must be a pain, I'm guessing. I don't need any! I had to admit though I liked it better when she wore her glasses, no one noticed her as much. Ya that probably sounds bad but its the truth, I didn't like how some of the guys were looking at her lately.

"Well we have reservations at a nice resteraunt tonight and then tomorrow I was thinking we could try some surfing lessons or something?" I said unzipping the door to the tent a little bit and seeing the ran pouring outside. I hope it will stop before tomorrow!

"Ooh sounds like fun, I've always wanted to try surfing!" She said sitting up and looked disappointed when she saw all the rain, couldn't blame her. Suddenly I felt guilty, I had kidnapped her for the weekend so she could relax and enjoy herself and its going to rain the whole time?

"Alright let's go, its almost 6," I said pulling on another jacket and helping her into hers before unzipping the zipper and following her out. I was excited for this weekend, I would finally be able to be alone with Kylie for more then a few hours each day.

Turns out the whole weekend was soggy and wet, we couldn't go surfing because the surf shop was closed and it was raining so much you could barely see the water from inside the tent. It had actually rained so much that a patrol officer came to the tent in the middle of the night last night and tell us that we had to get off the beach. We had decided than that we would just go home. it was pointless to stay when it was raining so much.

While we drove it was quiet, I was so mad that the "fun" weekend I had planned for us had just been ruined because of the stupid weather, Kylie was probably bored out of her mind the whole time, we missed our reservation because we were late and they wouldn't even let us in because we were so wet. How annoying. The whole weekend was ruined and I wouldnt blame Kylie if she didn't want to talk to me for a few days, I had probably stressed her out even more than she had already been. Great perfect, Jake, way to be a dick! Now your giving her the silent treatment! What's wrong with me!

"Look . . . I'm sorry alright?" I mumbled keeping my eyes on the road.

"Don't worry about it Jake, its not your fault the weather sucks right now!" She said laughing quietly and smiling over at me. I relaxed a little bit, she didn't seem mad at all. Which was a good sign I think.

"Well if you'd like we could go out to dinner when we get back In town,"

"I wish I could but remember, my sisters coming back," she said shrugging and sending me an apologetic look. I just smiled at her. Damn, there goes my plans with spending more time with Kylie.

Suddenly her phone started ringing and she answered it right away. She looked a little happy about that too, who was it?

"Hey Drey!" She greeted in a higher then normal voice. My grip on the steering wheel tightened as she started talking to him in that high girly voice, she didn't talk to me like that, ever. Unless she was nervous. But why would she be nervous talking to this Dan kid?

"Uh . . . Tomorrow? Sure ya I'll be there," she said smiling and not meeting my gaze when I glanced over at her.

"Alright, ya, see you at 7, alright, ha, bye . . . bye," She said finally ending the call and sighing, leaning back against her seat.
