You and your boyfriend of 1,5 month were both restless after been in the bed all day watching movies so you decided to go out for a powerwalk. It wasn’t a sunny summer day, it has finally stopped raining and the sun was hiding behind light grey clouds. “Shall we race to the door?” Liam said as you two were about 100 meters away from his place. You nod and you both started to get ready to run. “On your marks, ready, set- hey (Y/N), that’s cheating!” Liam shouted as you started running away from him towards the door. But Liam was soon close behind you, and somehow manage to catch up and were now about 5 meters in front of you. You used all the power you had to try to pass him but with no use. His hand soon touched his door and he smiled proudly and gasped for air as he looked back at you. But his smile faded soon away when he heard your terrible breathing. You were gasping and choking for air. It felt like you’ve been running up and down a couple stairs 5 times and then tried to breathe through a straw. Asthma attack. “Unlock… the… door…” you said, bending down with your hands on your thighs to try to take deep breaths. As soon as the confused Liam opened the door, you rushed towards the bedroom and dug in your bag after your inhaler. As soon as you felt in your hand, you took it out, took the lock off, shook it, put it in your mouth and took a deep breath before holding your breath for 10 seconds. “What’s happening?!” Liam asked scared at the door frame. “I ehm… I have asthma, and got an asthma attack since I overextended,” you said and looked at Liam, not being able to read the feelings in his face. “Oh babe,” Liam said and pulled you in for a hug. “It’s okay. I just wish you could have told me earlier. What if something terrible happened without me knowing you have asthma?” Liam asked scared as he rocked you back and forth in his arms. “I’m sorry Liam,” you said sad. “It’s okay babe, I’m glad you told me. No secrets from now on, let’s be honest and tell each other everything okay?” Liam asked. “Okay,” you said and pulled down Liam’s head for a kiss.
