Catching up

"so hows it going?" i said softly. I had met up with liam after years and years and we had decided on doing a lunch together. Now here were, sitting in some restaurant wondering how the others life turned out. "ive missed you." he mumbled. "yeah...missed you too." i smiled weakly. "heard you have a kid now..." he said trailing off. "yeah...a daughter. Her names ashley." i smiled. "isnt that the name we discussed for our first kid." he laughed. "yeah." i smiled warmly. "how old is she?" he asked. "11 months old. Her birthdays next month." i grinned. "i miss high school." he sighed. "i know." i said sadly. "we were voted the couple most likely to stay together forever remember?" he laughed. "look at us now." i said. "yep im in a band and you have an amazing family." he smiled. "strange how life turns out in the end." he sighed. "yeah...whyd we break up though i seem to have forgotten." i asked. "we got sick of each other." he said placing his hand on his face.we stayed quiet for a minute remembering that night, the screaming, plates shattering. "wheres your husband?" he asked. "we got divorced." i stated. "im sorry." he said apologetically. "dont be. He was an ass." i laughed. "so if i were to ask you out what would you say?" he asked cautiously. "id think about it." i smiled. "because i want us to try out again, you know date and stuff." he shrugged. "liam last time ended in plates being smashed and us yelling and this time around i have a kid!" i exclaimed. "yeah..i know. Ill help you take care of ashes as well." he grinned. I giggled at the nickname he gave my kid. "we'll try." i said finally giving in."

I know its beed ages since i've posted, but ive been extremly busy with exams, dance and netball!!!
