“Daddy?” your 5 year old son asked, interrupting his father from reading the story about superheroes. “Yeah Adam?” “I want to be a superhero,” Adam said and looked on the all kinds of superhero he saw on the pages. “You already are a superhero,” “I am?” his eyes lighted up with excitement and looked up to his father with the same brown eyes. Liam smiled. “Yes you are, we all are our own superhero in our own way. That’s what grandpa told me when I was little,” Liam ruffled his son’s hair. “But how can I be a superhero? I’m not big,” Adam said confused. “It’s great being small as you are. That’s why I’m having a hard time to find you when we play ‘hide and seek’, while you find be in no time since I’m so big. And you know whenever Lisa throws her toys under the couch? You always crawls behind the couch to get it, right?” Adam nod, waiting for his dad to continue. “Then you’re helping mum and Lisa, and since superhero helps other people, you are their superhero,” Liam finished. Adam thought for a second. “But superhero’s saves people too! I haven’t saved someone,” Liam’s heart cried a bit at seeing Adam’s sad look on his face. “Not every superhero saves people. But I have. You know uncle Andy? I saved his life once when my balcony in my apartment caught fire,” Liam said, knowing he couldn’t say too much about the horrible accident that happened. Adam looked at Liam in awe. “Wow… You really are a superhero dad. I want to be like you,” Adam said and cuddled closer to his pillow as a yawn sneaked its way through his mouth. Liam just smiled and kissed his son cheek. “Good night by son,” “Goodnight dad, I love you,” “I love you too, I love you too,”
