"So, how's your new school? Annoying as always?" Conner questioned me, still staring at his phone.
"Not that annoying. Even thought there's a boy who practically staring at me the whole time in the cafeteria. But he looked a bit familiar."
He stared at me in a complete shock, then burst out in laughter. "Who is he? Tell me the name."
I ignored his nasty laugh. "I don't know. I did't get to know his name since I've always been bossed around by my new bitchy popular friends."
"You've got to be kidding me. Popular? Your new friends is popular? Since when did you like popular stuff? How did the Emily Jade Harrison got a popular friend and a boy who's staring at her the whole time in the cafeteria?" He stared at me like there's a world war 3 going on.
"I don't know, it just actually happened to her life." I spoke sarcastically.
"You barely get a friend at your last high school." He mocked, pinching my cheek.
"Ow!" I rubbed my cheek. "I did! Jessica is my friend!" I protested.
"Jessica is my girlfriend and you are my sister. How could she get away from you while you're following me everywhere? And anyway, Jessica hates you."
"She did not hate me! And I did not follow you everywhere, mister."
"Yes she did. And yes you did." He said quickly, eyeing his phone back.
I groaned. "Whatever you said, I don't care. I'm getting food." I stood up, and grabbed my sweater.
"Wait, I'm so sorry." Conner apologized.
"Because you want me to get you food, right?"
"Yes, you understand me so well." He grinned, making my eyes rolled.

I went to the nearest Asian food restaurant to my house, which I always went to. I love Asian food, they always taste as delicious as they could be. Just the same as I love my vintage stuff. I entered the restaurant and ordered some food, sitting on a table, which is right on the middle of the restaurant.
A big smile plastered on my face as I saw the guy who's staring at me today on the cafeteria. He got a beautiful green eyes and long lashes. His brown hair brushed tidily on his head, and he's seriously staring at the menu. I decided to leave my lonely table since he's alone too.
"Want me to help you pick the food?" I demanded.
He jumped at first, which made me giggled. But he stayed silent, locking his eyes with mine.
"Can I sit with you?"
He quickly nodded. But then his calm expression turned to panicked one.
"What's going on?" My eyebrows raised.
"What are you doing here? If Ryder saw us, they will kill me." He told me quietly, almost whispering, in a heavy British accent.
"Who cares about him? I don't, and he wouldn't be here anyway."
"You're his next puppet, of course you do care. And it seems like you enjoyed it."
I stared at him, shocked, confused. "Next puppet? Enjoyed him?" I giggled sarcastically. "No, actually all of them didn't get me at all. Such a bossy girl and an asshole whose practically looking at my chest the whole time. And I wouldn't be their puppet, trust me. I have so much dignity to be their dogs." I complained to the boy I don't even know his name. "Well, I didn't even get to know your name."
