Chapter 11 - How Did They Find Out?

Stacey's Pov

I didn't care if the students were lauughing at me! But I was curious into what they were laughing at! And why were they laughing at me? So I went to Science and took my seat.

'Stacey, what phone do you have?' Michael asked.

'I don't have a phone!' I replied.

'Oh, right coz you don't know how to use one, sorry!' Layla said. The rest of the class laughed.

'What? I can use a phone!' I lied.

'So why don't you have one then?' Michael says.

I jut ignored them! How did yey no I can't use a phone? The whole class continued to laugh at me. I was so embarrassed. 

When class finished, there were posters all over school with my face on that had a speech bubble coming out out my mouth which said 'duh I am so dumb I can't use a phone! I am so stupid!' What? Who did this? It must be someone from this school, it has to be. I saw the girls, Nina, Chelsea, Maria and Sinaed with the boys, Jake, Kyle, Alec and Brad. When did they start hanging around? They were also laughing me at as well. Gosh! I ran to the janitor's closet to hide. I didn't go out until it was time for next lesson. So I was in the closet for lunch.

I got home, had my dinner, told the family what had happened and went to my room. I was pacing to think who had took my diary. Could it be Brad? He was in my room alone when I went to get the food. No it can't be. He is trustable and honest, he wouldn't do such a thing. Plus he likes me. Anyways he don't know where I keep my diary.

It was a new! I hope that the posters were taken down. So I went to school to find that the posters were still up. My gosh! But never mind, I can live with it.

'Attention students, the yearbooks are now ready. You can now get them from the student office. Only senior students can have them as they are the ones who are leaving soon. You will be asked for you student cards, so make sure you have them! Nina and Linda will be there to give it to you. Hope you all like them!' Principle Celtic says on the speaker.

I went to get mine but there was a line. The anouncment was made only like 5 seconds ago. Now I have to wait like 10 - 15 minutes to get my yearbook. We are getting to yearbooks, one which can be signed, has all of our individual school photos with names and photos from the past with text. The other one is from prom, so we shall be getting the prom one a week after from. I can't wait to see both of the books. Nina was in charge of them so it obviously going to be good.

Finally, I was at the front of the line. Linda laughed at me whilst she handed me the yearbook. I felt a bit upset. I didn't care though. I found Nina giggle a little as well. Not cool, she used to be my friend.

I went to a quiet spot to llok at the yearbook. As soon as I opened it, there was a photo of me, peeing myself. There was a caption next to it, 'I still pee my pants at the age of 18 as I have a bladder problem.' Huh? Who? This must be the person who still has my diary. I flicked though to find old photos, there was one phot with me with the girls. Then I found a peculier photo. It was me again. This time the caption said, 'I still watch Barbie as I have it recorded on cassets I had saved.' I was holding a barbie doll and smiling. Tis is getting out of hand. I started to cry. A lot. I didn't know what to do. I was just lost.

As soon as I got home, I didn't speak to anyone, I didn't eat dinner, I just went straight to my room and cried. I was just not myself anymore. I was not the person who I was a few months ago.

This kept going on for days. There was another embarrassing secret about me in the yearbook, 'I still don't know the alphabet eventhough I am old enough to know it!' was written next to a photo which was me wearing a crown saying 'Smart Queen'.
