"Derek?" Erica said knocking on the door of her Alpha's office, she didn't wait for an answer before walking in. "I need your help".

"I'll call you back", he said to the person on the other the phone, just before putting the receiver down. "What is it?" Derek asked as Erica took a seat in front of his desk...

"It's about the boy," Derek looked confused, so Erica went on. "I…Uh… When I was a teenager…Well I had a troubled childhood…I'm different person from who I was then", She looked worried, like her life could fall apart at any moment.

"Erica we're all different people to who we were as kids, it's a part of life", Derek stated trying to console Erica....

"I know", she said pushing a piece of hair out of face and tucking it behind her ear.

"Peter is going into an interrogation him".

"Good, I was starting to think you weren't getting anywhere with it", Derek said bringing the case file to lie in front of him.

"He's innocent", Erica stated like there was no doubt about it...

"I thought Peter  was about to interrogate him?" He asked flipping through the papers.

"He is".

"Then how could you know?" Derek questioned the agent and his pack mate.

"I just do"

"What is it?"

"I know him", Erica said quietly, almost ashamed that she did.

"From your past?"

"No, I was with him in Vampyria, he is just a victim".

"He is a dhamphire, a vampire spawn who was using you to get in the main land?" He said not understanding why Erica came to him, or what she wanted him to do...

"I not he is not... he is merely a kid Derek and he is a victim,", Erica argued...

"The boy tried to kill you, how can he be a victim, god Erica he compelled you" Derek rubbed his hand over his face in frustration...

Erica shook her head frantically "No,no,no, Derek, he was carrying me so we could reach the port fast, his master did not let him feed for a week, he was weak and he just slipped, he was trying to save me..." Derek cut her off  "By drinking you blood, you could have  died...."

"I did not, because he gave me his blood to recover and it was an accident, he was starving Derek and I pushed him, he was hungry and I forced him to feed from me, so that he could help me out of the hellhole, I was stuck there for three fucking months Derek, and no one  from the Organization was send to save me..." Erica cried out in desperation to make Derek understand....

"I know Erica, but this is necessary, we have to run some test to see if it is a ploy or not..."

Erica sighed "I know, but can you help me..."She asked in a calmer tone...

"How?"

"I want him to be with us, he is scared Derek, he need some help..."

Derek pondered over the fact  looking intently at Erica before replying "Ok". Erica smiled in relief. "On a few conditions", He didn't wait for Erica to respond. "Your life can't be in any danger", He didn't want anything else to happen to her. She had been through enough the past few months.

"It won't".
