Harry

As I slowly open my eyes, I wake to find a blurry Louis staring inches away from my face with his expression of concern shaking the second I force out a smile.

"Good morning sleepy head"

"W-where am I?" I can feel my voice croak and crack as it comes out, hopefully it does't sound as I imagine.

"After you passed out I kind of went for Zayn till the boys could separate us. I got a few good punches in" he slightly laughs to himself running his grazed hand through his hair. "Niall and Liam took him somewhere to calm down"

"That's great Lou but where am I?"

I slowly sit up and lean against the back of a sofa as a sharp pain slices through my stomach.

"I carried you to my car and drove us back to my house. I hope that's okay. It's just that I knew no-one would be here for a while and I didn't know what else to do"

The thought of him carrying me all the way here without me even noticing, considering how big I am compared to him, slightly eases the pain shattering it's way throughout my body. I guess he does care after all.

"Thank you Lou"

"Don't say that"

"What?"

"Don't thank me when this is partly my fault" His voice breaks mid sentence.

"I don't blame you"

"Well you should. He's my dickhead of a friend. I should of done something! I should of stopped him!"

"You did Lou, I know you did"

"Come on let's get you sorted"

Louis gets up from the sofa and gets a first-aid box from the cupboard above the sink in the nearby kitchen. He walks back over to me and sits down, much closer than before. I look around his living room, noticing pictures of Louis from when he was a baby amongst family photographs neatly arranged above a fireplace.

"Fuck!"

"What?!" Louis shouts ,raising his hands in the air and leaping backwards.

"That really hurt! Why didn't you warn me you were going to do that!" My eye throbs as fresh blood trickles down my cheek.

"I did? Three times actually" Louis's face scrunches up clearly confused.

"Oh, sorry. You can...carry on...if you want to...sorry"

He moves his arm slowly back to my head and softly wipes away the blood. I fight the urge to kiss him again with his lips just inches away from mine.

I really need to tell him the truth. I can't keep hiding this from him any longer. I guess he's going to figure it all out sooner or later anyway. Louis continues to wipe away the rest of the dried blood from my face being as gentle as he can as I try to think of ways to break the truth to him. What if he can't deal with it when he knows?

"Okay I think you're done" Louis says as he looks down at the floor, biting his bottom lip. "I'm really sorry Harry. This never should have happened. I feel terrible"

"It's okay, it's not your fault" The look of guilt on his face stubbornly sits. "Do you want to do something tonight?"

"Me?" he looks genuinely surprised. Idiot.

"No Lou, I want to take your mum out to dinner"

"Oh alright sarcy" Louis replies laughing.

"I can come back here for around 8? I need to shower up and stuff"
