Chapter 23

I look at the card and face palm .
"You bought tickets for logic's concert?" I ask astonished.

"Yeah but I'll buy new ones for New York" he gives me a kiss on the cheek intertwining our hands.

"Omg Cameron Dallas what are you doing here" Sierra wraps her arms around him.

Cameron and I walk into a cafe seeing Emilio and his wife sitting there.
Without hesitation we walk up to them and greet them before we take a sit in the opposite side.

"So today is your day off but tomorrow you have a photo shoot for Louis Vuitton at 9 am be earlier and the day after tomorrow you and Cameron are going to be at the opening of the new Magnum shop I'll send you the address" he explains.

Cameron and I exchange looks and smile at the mid thirty year old.
We keep on talking for an hour and thirty minutes until we all decide to go.

With intertwined hands Cameron and I walk around Times square.
Looking at all of the ads i notice Cameron's face.

"Cam look" I say pointing at the Calvin Klein poster.
He smiles and gives me a kiss on my cheek.

I look at the other posters and laugh as I see an Armani ad.
"It's Shawn" I say laughing. receiving a surprised Cameron.

"You never laugh when it comes to Shawn" he says looking into my eyes.

"I may not be friends with Shawn anymore but I have to say that I'm proud and my therapist/psychologist told me to smile more and think about all of his positive actions" I explain resting my head on his shoulder.

He chuckles and keeps on walking as soon as I catch up he starts talking.
Our hands move back and forth as we hear a group of kids sing 'How far I'll go' from the well known Disney movie Moana. Scenarios like this make me smile and feel lucky.

"What are the odds that you and i are going on a cinema date tonight?"

I learn British English at school so I normally try my best by changing some words]

We think for a second and smile at each other.

"Two"

"one" I scream laughing.

"I'm still taking you out today" he announced pecking my forehead hugging me.

"Wow"
I laugh against his chest breathing in his cologne.

"I have to go there's an important meeting for the #WeloveMexico project" he tells me stretching his arm for a taxi to stop.

A yellow cab pulls up in front of us.
Cameron presses his lips against mine and looks at the taxi driver.

"Make sure you get her safely to the hotel" he says looking dead into his eyes before he gives him the address.

The driver nods uninterested and locks the door.
I wave Cameron back and sigh.

"Do you want to listen to the radio" the driver asks looking at me for a second.

"Yeah sure"

He turns on the radio and I lean back listening to Taylor swift's voice.
As i look out of the window my mind wanders and I can tell that I'll be deep in thoughts the whole ride long.

A familiar voice is heard on the radio.
I snap back to reality when I hear Shawn's voice singing mercy.

With closed eyes I listen to the lyrics as if they were written for me.
After all Shawn and I have been through a piece of me still loved and missed him.

In Shawn's voice I found comfort and a feeling of being happy but my brain had to take my happiness from me.

Shawn has forgotten me I have to not forget that fact.
Hearing my phone ring I answer it.

"Hey Olivia it's me Zachary"
I sit up once i hear the voice of my social worker.

"Hey did you find anything new" I ask inpatietly.

"As a matter of fact yes I did your mother has already been out of prison for four years"

I gulp and smile lightly after hearing the information.

"Where on earth is she" I ask.

"She lives in New York and works for a famous model. She's married to a Simon Peterson and they have twins and Simon has two kids from a previous relationship" he informs me.

"Please send me her address thank you for your help" I switch off my phone smiling.

I'm going to see my mom soon.
