Thank you guys so much for the 1K reads!! I literally cried when I saw that! And I was on the bus, so it was kinda awkward, jumping around in my seat and whatnot. Anywhoo, here is a chapter for you guys, plus a little Noah in here! I love you all, each and every one of you!
And I apologize for any reader who speaks Italian... I personally don't, so I used Google Translate, and everyone knows that Google Translate isn't that accurate... So I apologize in advance. So if I got any word wrong or something, you can just tell me, politely, and I'll try my best to fix it. Thanks a ton!
Enjoy! ~
Chapter 23 - 'What are you doing here?'
My leg hurt like a motherfucker. That's all I had to say.
We're currently on our way to the hospital right now, and I'm trying to avoid anything touching my calf. But to be honest, I can't help but stare at it.
"Hannah, can you stop staring at your calf already? We're almost there." Brian said from the front, his hands clutching the wheel. My head snapped up and I sighed. "Sorry. But I can't help it! When I stare at it, it doesn't hurt as much. If that makes any sense..." I trailed off. I shrugged and continued to stare at it. My eyebrows furrowed once I saw my blood still a fresh, red color.
Shouldn't it have dried already?
I felt the car come to a halt and I looked up to see that we have parked at the hospital. "Finally." I muttered. I opened the car door and hopped out, making sure that my injured leg wouldn't touch the floor. I didn't need anymore pain in my leg.
Aiden came over to me and helped me walk to the front desk. The lady there looked up from her desk and stared at us with a bored expression on her face. "May I help you?" She asked, toneless. "My friend here needs to see someone. She has a little..." Natalie trailed off. "accident." She finished with.
"Well I'm sorry, but there is no more rooms available. I'm going to have to ask you to sit in the waiting room, and wait until someone checks out." She said, and looked back to the computer, doing whatever she was doing on it. I narrowed my eyes at her. "Excuse me, but I need to see a doctor right now. This is very urgent." I said.
She rolled her eyes at me. "Did you not hear what I just said? There are no more room available, so I'm going to have to ask you to-"
"Yes, I heard what you said earlier and I don't care. I need to see a doctor right now, and you better call one or so God help me, you will lose your job and everything else that you own. I bet you don't want that, huh?" I threatened, feeling the blood start to drip on the floor already.
She glared at me. "You can't do that."
"Watch me." I countered, an evil smile on my face. She opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off with someone behind us.
"Is there a problem here?"
I whirled around, and come face to face with a doctor. I sighed in relief. "Yes, there is actually. I asked this lady here to see a doctor and she wouldn't let me." I said, letting an innocent look cross my face. I shook my head in mock disappointment and I looked at her. "She started saying that there were no more rooms left over and I tried to get her to help me, but she told us to wait in the waiting room. I don't think I can be able to wait in the waiting room because this," I said, motioning towards my wound, "will get infected if not treated properly."
Aiden scoffed beside me and the lady at the front desk started to protest. "What? I did no such thi-"
"Miranda, tacere. Mi occuperò più tardi." He said to her, which I guess is Miranda, causing her to whimper. "I'm so sorry about that. Follow me."
